I mean what would you call those who have been writing essays after essays last 2 months defending Nepo kids, mocking other members, making fun of Sushant's death yet calling others keyboard warrior who may have taken 2 secs to dislike the trailor?! - The other side of the same coin - They are doing ditto same while preaching others what not to do! 😆

I mean so much preaching on how others should volunteer and take part in supposedly "real causes" while they themselves have planted their hypocritical asses on this forum 24/7 for the last 2 months without participating in any causes what so ever real or virtual - Why not practice what they preach than commenting on others' joblessness - 😆

Right and wrong is also a matter of perspective end of the day - If one has a right to their opinions, so do others including the so called mob! Extreme opinions will always be there no matter what side you're batting from!

So if there's a supposedly mob hating on anything Nepo, the other side of the coin is our Nepo mob that's hating on the previous mob - So there's no need to for anyone to act sanctimoniously when they are doing ditto same that too oh so frivolously!

Jinpar aapbeeti hoti hai, unhe zaroor pata hota hai. Uchhala toh hamein bhi bahut baar gaya hai. Niband bhi bade bade likhe gaye hain hampar.

You are right, this is a fight of pro-nepotism v/s anti-nepotism that has been fought on this very forum. 😆

PS: Now I'm gonna stop hijacking this thread.

OT: I don't think Akshay would have been hit. But if at all he took that step, it would only have been wise and recommended.

The movie might be good, but every good movie doesn't need to be remade. I think movies which were way ahead of its times only deserves to be remade, like Jane Bhi Do Yaaron, Swades, Shaurya etc.

Agnipath probably the only movie which IMO made sense to have been remade. The movie didn't get its due in its time, although I don't like violent movies, but I see people talking about that moving deserving better. Fine !! But why Sadak. 🤔

Firstly, fact check: it isn't a remake but sequel.

Secondly, I don't know why they made it😂.

Maybe because they thought it is gonna be a last hurrah for Mahesh Bhatt. Or the prospect of daughter and father working together. It can be anything.

And mind you, people are hating it now(deservedly) but the idea of Mahesh Bhatt returning to direct was eagerly anticipated and welcomed.

I agree. Insults keep flying around. But you shouldn't be manipulated into supporting nepotism just because of those insults or abuses.

As I said, please call out anybody that's abusing. But, again, please support this anti-nepotism movement in whatever small way you can. It could be as small as controlling yourself from having a go at someone merely for suggesting nepotism sucks.

Also, I disagree that only the Government can fix this. They can only f$$$ this up even more. If the production houses hear people's voice, LOUD and clear, there will definitely be some change. When they're finalizing the cast, there will be a teeniest of voice somewhere in the back of their heads.

If it's a movie being financed by nepo families, it's understandable. Ironically Bhatt's should've been well within their rights with Sadak 2; just that the timing sucked for them. But in case of other production houses, there will be SOME consideration.

Gunjan Saxena was played in my house, and I excused myself under some pretext. The review I got was the movie is good, but Jahnvi was okay, and apparently the weakest actor in the cast. Should a lead be the weakest actor in a cast? It is this that I was referring to. This movement will help towards improving the quality of movies. And if it succeeds, impossible without the help of people like you, then the coming generation of movie watchers will remember this as a watershed moment that shook up the system and improved things.

If we keep fighting amongst ourselves, while all these kids keep laughing to the bank, of course the movement will fizzle out. But I'm not concerned of the result. Irrespective of the outcome, I'm gonna play my part. 👍🏼

arre nahi Bhai....mujhe kaun manipulate karega....if u pick out my 8 year old post...u will see me supporting star kids...i never bashed any actor because they are nepo kids....kabhi bhi nahi...the older members here know this....

The extent to which I support nepotism is if one is using their OWN money to promote their own...that to me is their right to use their hard earned money whatever way they want to use it....just like I should be able to use mine....if tomorrow I have enough money and one of my kids wants to be an actor....I would make a movie for them.....u guys keep mixing this right to use their own money with bullying, harassing , snatching roles...no one supports that..no one...just like u guys even though bashing Alia won't support a rape threat for her...bilkul wahi....for me ...telling KJo or Adi that they have to use their money the you want them is entitlement.....u wouldn't want anyone to tell you that......if its not one's own money....and its Govt money or a govt job..or a corporation where there are stakeholders other than u...nepotism is a big no no.

Yaar logoff bhi karke nikal liya tha. Vaada bhi kar diya ki I'll not hijack this thread.

So I'll just limit myself to say that I fully disagree with the highlighted, and that we stand on opposite sides of the "sadak". 😎

Even if I am not part of this movement, after hearing Alia's shouting of 'Sadak ke iss paar bhagwaan hai' I was definitely on the other side of the street. Who won't dislike such trailer is my ques. What's so great about Sadak1 anyways that now we have Sadak2? If someone can explain please.

hey thanks. Congratulations to you too. Toddler age is super energetic so it’s tiring for us as well as super fun.

@bold — tell me about it. I am against extreme trolling. I even voiced out against Alia getting death and rape threats. It’s a strict no no. Also I think blaming Nepotism for Sushant’s death is not logical.

Yet I disliked Sadak 2 trailer coz of Alia only. Extreme bad acting by her. Plus Alia gets super offended over nepotism remark, She has very high handed attitude so she gets the most flak. Janhvi appears humble so she escapes the wrath. Same for other male nepo kids.

Ek toh Aloo gets the most benefits of Nepotism upar se nepotism ka naam sunte hi madam ke nostrils bade ho jate hai.

Aloo ka thakela face is my biggest reason to bash her. 😆

I apologise for my derisive comments on Sushant. I am sorry if it hurt anyone's sentiments. I am not empathetic towards suicides at all. I felt bad, but I will never support such drastic decision. To me it applies to everyone who commits suicide, be it a farmer, an actor, or any other human being. I have seen the adverse effects of it personally. It take people/parents lifetime to get over its impact. Its ill sounding I know but try put yourself in someone's show you will know how difficult it is. I stand by my point, and I will always.

Why what I said in some thread is discussed here? It was closed for a reason.

I didn’t like the s2 trailer so don’t care to watch the movie

buttttt this monitoring of dislikes, sending forwards to ppl to dislike the trailer shows desperation to prove urself right rather than a genuine “idgaf” response

Clearly ppl give enough of a damn to give it that much attention rather than let the film sink on its own ( which it is anyway thanks to the silly trailer)

Ur not doing outsiders any favours by revelling in the failure of sadak2 or aliaa and making it seem like some achievement 😂 on the audiences part...ur infact doing more harm by giving it that attention instead of treating it with nonchalance

Bechare outsiders ke films aren’t given attn and here we are keenly anticipating a flop from an insider and treating it like some service to outsiders 😂

Don't you think you're confusing people advocating against the gross degree of nepotism that exists in bollywood with the everyday variety of nepotism like recommending your cousins or sisters for jobs or kids taking over mom and pop shops of their parents? These false comparisons are just that--false. The hollow nepotism of bollywood that you're advocating is not the same as the possibility of your kids' taking over your business down the line. Same thing with Trump administration--it's not the same as kids taking over their mom and pop shop.

Having said that, of course, we all believe that our kids are extraordinary and most of us would move mountains for them, but does that mean the rest of the world should dance in joy when these rich kids with no virtues or reality check are foisted into influential roles in the public eye because their daddies and uncles have traded favors?

Also, no one has denied that it's their money and their free will--LET THAT BE HEARD LOUD AND CLEAR--once and for all--(I'm gonna repost this to anyone who repeats this blasphemy again) but the argument doesn't end there. I personally wouldn't care if Mahesh Bhatt spent his entire fortune to buy an island for Alia to be settled there for the rest of their lives, for example.smiley36 At the same time, they're in the public eye and their livelihood depends on public's opinion of them. If they want public adulation, they need to impress the public. They can coast along up to a point with the facade they put up but guess what? There's a tipping point to everything, they've been busted and public is NOT impressed with their ways.

The high handed "elites" have made their game too blatantly obvious for them to continue coasting along and making millions when all they provide are overhyped characters and bitchfests in the name of entertainment. Much like any business that wants to do well will have to adapt to people's needs, they will have to take public opinion into account to do well. Otherwise they will be panned and rightfully so.

Lastly, you might not agree with the level of this outrage but the disgusting level of nepotism in bollywood is worth at least a small sliver of outrage. I've never seen the nepo apologists acknowledge that and I don't expect them to ever because it's their bias blind spot whether they admit it or not.
