Surprisingly good episode

This season actually might be the best season since the very first season. I was damn sure this season would be terrible, but the first episode was actually awesome due to hina, dheeraj and mohit. Not a hina fan whatsoever, but liking hina in the role as naagin. She really suits it and is looking beautiful and graceful.

On top of it her chemistry is wonderful with both mohit and dheeraj, but don't know why but I felt goosebumps (in a good way) seeing dheeraj and hina together onscreen, especially that first meeting scene where aakesh is in awe of nageshwari and uses his dagger as a mirror to show nageshwari for the first time what she looks like in human form then when he held her hand when she was about to attack him. So odd that I was totally feeling mohit-hina chemistry one moment, then when aakesh and hina appear together finally it feels like sparks fly. Actually surprisingly impressed with the chemistry of hina with both actors, but I'm oddly shipping nageshwari and aakesh fpr sure.

Also in the first looks released, I thought dheeraj looked awful, but in the actual show he really carries this look well and looks... well... HOT! Also dheeraj as aakesh performed really well. I forgot I was looking at karan luthra lol... great performance by dheeraj who in actual steals the show in this episode.

Mohit I feel has nothing to actually perform really, and besides his cute chemistry with hina, I feel like he's the weakest actor of the three.

I'm wondering if sharad malhotra character will be reincarnation of aakesh... because I can really see it, as the actor who plays the reincarnated version of dheeraj's character must present a similar charm that dheeraj is as aakesh, which I can see sharad doing. It's highly possible given so many sources have confirmed that sharad's character is apparently not only male lead, but also will start off negative then turn positive with story progression.

I was surprised seeing how the first seemingly evil aakesh falls so hard in love with nageshwari that he doesn't even flinch or react at being beat up by hriday as he is too busy looking at nageshwari the whole time and hriday appeared to seem like a side character against nageshwari and aakesh given how the scenes were so focused on the latter two, so interestingly it appears that nageshwari and aakesh will eventually be a couple, perhaps in their rebirth. This nageshwari-aakesh-hriday love triangle and nageshwari-aakesh relationship seems unpredictable at this point.

Nageshwari and aakesh seem to have a connection that isn't there with her and hriday that I can't quite explain despite loving hriday. I feel nageshwari-aakesh and their rebirth avatars are going to be the main couple of the show rather than nageshwari-hriday and their rebirth, because they aren't showing much of a connection between hriday and her like with aakesh and there is so much focus on the equation between her and aakesh that for sure it seems like they are the main couple.

But one critique I have is that cringey cheel background music. Balaji need to cut it out, and it seems we will have to put up with it up until the reincarnation starts because I doubt the cheel music will be there after the reincarnation.

First episode was great, hope post-reincarnation they don't mess up... also I will miss dheeraj as aakesh when this part of the story ends.

I beg to differ with the Naageshwari-Hriday chemistry cause I couldn't feel it. It seemed to me like some kind of puppy love to me, did not feel a thing. With Aakesh and Naageshwari, they was more fire in them in those moments. The rest of the points, I completely agree.

Additionally, what I noticed with Naageshwari, Hriday and Cheel is the different ways of expressing or revealing her beauty. With Hriday, she had to rely on his words to believe about her beauty. Words ka kya hai, Hriday jhooth bhi to bol sakta hai. And that is where there is a problem - blindly believing Hriday where he might be lying.

With Aakesh, when she mentioned that she hadn't seen herself, he showed it to her in his dagger, as a mirror to her. It was like Aakesh showed the truth through her own eyes, not through his eyes. In his own wacky way, the cheel showed the truth to the naagin, not by words, by facts.

And this was just a reflection of what their relationship will be in the future episodes - Hriday will or can show Naageshwari what he sees or believes as truth, or lies and she may believe it out of love. But Aakesh will show her the truth through her own eyes, not manipulate it by his viewpoint. I guess that is how I feel Cheel and Naagin will be the lead, not the Naag and Naagin.

Lol the hriday-nageshwari chemistry I only felt initially in that romantic moment they were having together... but the moment aakesh and nageshwari came together in their scene, I was like "Hriday who?" 😆 Seriously the aakesh-nageshwari moments were absolute fire and considering how ridiculous I thought dheeraj character will be from his first looks being released on social media, in the final product he turned out incredible.

Also I'm surprised that finally ekta seemed to really have thought hard and well to be creative and different with the storyline this time. This season the story and the pairing is completely different from other seasons.

I hope she doesn’t mess it up this time. In Kavach , vin rana’s Character was apparently negative in the beginning but was supposed to turn positive later, however they kicked him out and from that point on the story went downhill and the viewers lost interest. This time I hope both they don’t axe anyone’s character and later say the so and so actor was signed in as a cameo like how they did with Jasmin in season 4

I would say that I liked Dheeraj's look. It fascinated me very much. And he did not disappoint as Aakesh. About Hriday, yes I agree with you.😆

Actually when they first announced that Dheeraj was cast for Naagin 5, I wasn’t very happy nor was I sure about how exactly was he going to pull off a supernatural character. But would you look at that, he actually surprised me and his performance was indeed mind blowing and stunning. He clearly impressed me beyond my expectations to the point that I’m quite upset that he’s around for just 2 episodes. That’s such a shame.

True that! I liked him as Aakesh. Will miss him as Aakesh😔. Let's hope that Sharad is Aakesh, cause, I will like seeing him in grey shade as well.

Remember nagarjun and how anshuman was replaced by pearl, and anshu, like jasmine also claimed he knew from beginning that he will only be in show for a while.... in both these cases it seems like crap the actors have been told to say by the production house and the actors have to in order to keep good relations with the production house. Same happened with mohsin khan character in the show dream girl (featuring shraddha arya as main vamp) where he was the male lead and his character eventually was killed off and mohsin said he knew from beginning that was going to happen... hate when production houses try to cover up sudden bad cast changes with such a lie.

Yeah vin was actually the best part of kavach 2 and the season looked to be far better than the rubbish that season 1 was and it seemed as if ekta had learned her lesson about writing a better story, yet she so quikcly ruined the track by killing vin character. I fear she will do similiar mess ups here too.
