What reason would Ankita have for taking his money when she was not even with him anymore? The Indian media is trash so maybe it's not accurate but they are saying the apt. was only in Sushant's name. It makes sense for him to keep paying the EMI since the apt would remain his on paper. But then Ankita should be paying him rent. Why would she be staying there for free? Or why not just move out instead of relying on your ex's money?

And if Rhea was drugging him and controlling his money, how was Sushant able to keep paying for Ankita's maintenance?

Personally I think he was an adult and he can spend on whoever he wants - Rhea or Ankita or 50 other girls if he desires. But the same judgement should apply to everyone.

Its not ok at all to share the expenses where only one will pay all for all the luxury of the other...in most cases men...if someone accept that without paying a penny of her own yes she is a gold digger...using men as a ladder to climb up..

Ankita and SSR were sharing the flat expenses...

Shame on Meme Police. Crime Patrol raised my expectations wrt to Meme Police dept, looks like all vain. There was this movie Page3, which accurately showed the kind of stuffs that happen between Police dept and BW. That movie looks more real than live shows like Umang or Crime Patrol. 🤔

Who says Ankita was sharing expenses? There is no news report like that all. All we've heard was that Sushant was paying. And she was his ex so she has no right over his money. They were not even a couple anymore but she was taking his money so she could continue to live in a posh apartment.

Here's the thing: in most couples, both people don't earn the same amount of money. It's not possible for the lesser earner to match the other person's lifestyle unless the higher earner pays for it. If Sushant wanted to travel to Europe for his bucket list, Rhea most likely would not be able to pay for it and especially not for fancy hotels and other hi-fi stuff. If he wanted her to go with him, he would obviously have to pay for it. Do you think Iulia can afford Salman's lifestyle? Obviously not so he would have to pay for her too. You cannot do perfect 50-50 in any relationship. You are partners, not roommates that you can divide expenses in that way.

Plus if Rhea drugged him and controlled his money, how was he giving alimony to Ankita?

Ya'll need to accept that Sushant was an adult and he spent on whoever he wanted to and he made those decisions himself. Whether his gf is a golddigger or not doesn't matter if he willingly wants to spend on her. The same rules apply for both Ankita and Rhea.

Also the case is mainly for Rhea responsible for SSR's death

The money angle comes in as a reason why she was after SSR separating him from family and friends

And as soon as she emptied his account she left him

The charges are also there for blackmailing
