"Batuk calm down. It isn't the end of the world. It's okay. Try harder next time you will succeed." Bondita said trying to calm her youngest brother in law.

"How can I calm down boudi. I failed. I never can be as great as Anirudh Dada and Som dada. How can I face them when I have failed. I am finished."

Bondita came near him and sat opposite to him and spoke, "Okay answer my question, when you see a rose flower and wish to pluck it what do you do?"

Batuk confused at her weird questioning answered her carelessly, "I would pluck it."

"But why? Arent you afraid that you might prick yourself?" She asked. "Boudi its just some thorns. And if you actually desire a rose then you should also embrace the thorns which come with it." Batuk said without any thought.

Bondita smiled to which Batuk's confusion grew. She seeing his confusion, explained,

"Exactly what I was trying to make you understand Batuk. Just like to reach up to the rose you have to face the thorns and get pricked by them. the same way for bigger successes you have go through these small failures and get pricked by them. And just like your desire for the rose isnt oppressed by the thorns the same way your desire for success shouldn't be suppressed by these small failures. So my dear brother in law take this practice test as an eye-opener and work hard for the final examinations."She smiled seeing him realize what she said.

"Thanks a lot, boudi. I will definitely take up your advice. I will even tell my marks to Anirudh Dada. After all, he does deserve to know it. Thanks a lot." He said.

Batuk got up and turned around to go to his Dada's study but before that, he bends down near his boudi and whispered teasingly,

"Now I understand why Som dada calls you the mirror of Anirudh dada's soul."
