Funny how nobody talks about Irfan Khan who died around the same time as sushant. Irfan Khan was a much better actor than Sushant, he was a great human being and had great films and yet, nobody talks about him. Why?
Everyone talks about Sushant because he died by suicide and that s gloryfing it.
Irrfan is definitely a more established and experienced actor, but you do realise that we were all aware that he had neuroendoctrine tumor right? A part of your mind knows that anything can happen once a person is diagnosed with cancer, probably the vilest disease ever.
On the other hand Sushant's death was TOTALLY unexpected. He was a young, seemingly healthy and budding star. And no, people aren't talking about Sushant because "he died by suicide". Sushant's dead body pictures got leaked and started getting scrutinized; people noticed things that pointed towards murder and shared them on social media, his flatmate started making contradictory statements about his death and most importantly his family filed a whole FIR against his girlfriend, accusing her of abetment.
And I'll maintain that it IS about Sushant himself - for his journey from a simple Bihari boy to a TV star to a Bollywood actor, for his genuine personality that people haven't acknowledged while he was there and to which they can now relate after watching his interviews though too late. Also for having been a victim of lobbying. I also feel that there are people who are seeking closure and relief from the regret of not having watched his films/followed him by 'fighting for him'.
Coming to your point, if people are indeed getting influenced by the love and support he's getting because justice for this underrated man is being sought, and deciding to resort to committing suicide as per their interpretation, it's really, really unfortunate and wrong.
