Was Shakuntela Devi really that well liked? Mostly I had heard mixed reviews from people.

Given that Ormax is the industry standard of gauging data over film/tv/radio, the numbers look genuine given they are being released by a third party agency and not the Ott platform. I'm sure the OTT platforms would add more to these numbers if they were in the business of releasing numbers. But given the absence of them releasing the actual figures, the industry follows the statistics of Ormax.
