His mother anjana mumtaaz is also a TV actor who acted in the serial Buniyaad which was a famous serial in DD during my school days

I watched that show too, Ruslaan and Sangeeta were so good together, made a great pair, opposites attract type! Ruslaan is definitely a good actor and he’s doing great as a villain in this show!
