Unbearable show - Page 4

I read about the South Indian drama that Anupamaa is based on. I think it started about A year and a few months ago. In that show the female character haS already divorced her husband and is standing on her own two feet after a lot of humiliation.

Not south indian, it is a Bengali show Sreemoyee.

I remember that movie Baghban...although it was OTT drama I do love the end when both parents give their children the middle finger. That’s what needs to happen here ...Anu needs to give both her husband, and mother in law the finger and move on. Tell her stupid kids to piss off and make Kavya their mother

Kavya is a weird character ...sometimes you see her supporting Anu other times she is also putting her down

The show thus far sucks ...I fast watch it every few days in 5 min cause my mom also wants to see if Anu takes a stand soon. However her patience is also waning

I feel like I have seen thousands of shows where there is a 'haaye bechaari' (as Samar says) lead who is selflessly good despite being bullied/abused/taunted by hordes of people. That's a staple of Indian TV.

I was, however, pleasantly surprised when Anupama stood up for herself when Paritosh said he was embarrassed of her. Didn't expect a long speech that didn't mince any words. I only hope that her response will become more fiery with time. Vanraj, Baa, Paritosh, Paakhi all need a dose. I suppose they want to build up to that. It has to be worth it after all this.

Today was a pleasant watch and I am guessing tomorrow will be as well. Pakhi was so intrigued with the stories about her mother as was Paritosh. The dance with the kids was really nice and looking forward to watching it tomorrow. For the first time, Pakhi and Toshi were having fun with their mom. Pakhi’s indulgent yet awestruck look at her mom makes me want to forgive that girl all her arrogance.

Will be good to see the kids turn against Vanraj and see their disgust when his affair with Kavya is revealed.

I agree today's episode was a pleasant one. I hope Paritosh realised that his mom is also cool and not mannerless like Kinjal's mom.

IKR the show reminds me of hello Pratibha on zee TV similar concept and of course English vinglish but English vinglish was a movie it will end in hours but Anupama it will be stretched and dragged for weeks.

If the show gets the numbers then it will continue to drag and Anupama will be a doormat for years to come and when the ratings drop their will be Maha episode 😆abt Anupama taking a stand

Same, it reminded me of Hello Pratibha except the fact that Pratibha's hubby wasn't an a*****e like Vanraaj

I haven’t seen/fast watched this episode ...last one I saw a few min where Paritosh was insulting his mom in front of his gf and then his gf gave it to him

It might be that CV are realizing they went OTT with how kids were treating their mom ...it was bloody unrealistic really ...having another woman pose as their mom continuously and not even one kid suspecting something is up

kids aren’t that stupid or oblivious...esp since they are pretty grown up

Vanraj doesn’t love Anu...but it seems like they are still sleeping together as husband wife? That super cringe scene I fast forwarded where she was talking to herself about having relations or something and getting all shy....I’m thinking the point of that silly scene was to show how Vanraaj is lying to Kavya and his double standards

also they need to tone down Vanrajs treatment of his wife ...we get he doesn’t love her but they are showing utter disgust from his side. She is still the mother of his kids ...they don’t need to show love but showing him treat her like dirt ...really lowers the quality of the episodes ...so I continue to fast watch the show until it’s toned down and better written

Yeah like I just can’t stand Vanraj and even his mother. Like firstly aunty ji, you’ve completely done a sick job bringing up Vanraj because the dude is just an arrogant cheating assh*le :) and no I’m not blaming her for it, but she should see her own son who she freaking looks up to, is disgusting and she better stop mistreating Anu and her fam because I swear kisi din thappad na pad jaaye.

He’s horrible and not just to Anupama but to Kavya even. I mean he wants to restrict and control her too and on top of that has lied to her as well.

The show makes my blood boil.

Anu almost slaps Devika when Devika tells her about her suspicions re Kavya and Vanraj
