I think more then destroying him, they wanted to control him completely, make him dependent on their family mentally.....cut him off from his own family....so that they can keep using his money...... yesterday one marathi channel said that he had made a fixed deposit of 4.5 crore on Priyanka's name.... later Rhea made him remove 2.5 crores from it and transfer to the CA's account....

As for his death, either its a murder by a third party (the way the Maha govt is saving someone and creating hurdles for the interrogation) which Rhea was privy too.............. or........... Rhea's mind control medication went wrong and it really affected his mind leading him to take the step (i still doubt the suicide theory cause the body was hanging diagonally as per the servant's statement)
