That Rhea girl has absconded with all his money, she and her whole pavitra khandaan was living off Sushant's money. I don't know why he and Ankita broke up because at that time till the moment that his death flashed every NewsHour I was never interested in off-screen romances. But one thing I felt sure of when I watched Ankita after so many years again on the screen........she never got over him. There was a moment when she was explaining why she was not in touch with him and said jab wo mujhe chod ke gaya .and stopped painfully. She did not keep in touch with him for 4 years as it was hard for her to pretend and do the 'now we r good friends'bit. She frankly told Arnab that it was just not the same. Then the way she called his father Papa.It seems she has good relations with his sisters and they were confiding in her while this Rhea girl had cut him off from his family. One you tuber commented devi ko chodkar chudailke paas gaya. Dramatic as it may look one cannot ignore the sentiment. Now it seems he has been strangled with Fudge's belt! When I see videos of him running with Fudge and pampering him I cannot believe he is no more! And where they went wrong in killing him was not dreaming that he would have this global popularity. People from far off lands like Fiji r giving gaalis to pavitra khandaan.I know that Ankita said she moved on but I think a part of her died with him and she came across as intensely proud of his achievements as if they were hers so I really don't know if the moving on was just something one had to do to get on in life. Not that I would dream of saying anything about the fellow with whom she made the attempt.......i just felt so bad when I saw the fiercely proud look on her face when she talked of his achievements.

Hope the public give pavitra khandaan a prasad of chappals if CBI dares to leave them.

Hi Kools., How have you been. . wow, been years since Ive seen you post .. Just never thought all of us would be having this kind of "get-together" after almost a decade.

If all the rumours about Rhea being a small fish is true, then , I think she might be scapegoated to save the big guns (if it comes to that..)

Hi .........Kools here.......an old PR member of those fun-filled Pavitra Rishta days

Hi Kool! Hope you're doing well. How can any of us forget you or the Kool's Commentary threads where discussions would go on for dozens of pages?! Somewhere in this thread I was reminiscing about the days when we would make fun of Manohar and how he would adjust his glasses when he had nothing else to do. Never thought I would hear from you again! Though these are the most unfortunate circumstances...

---

I haven't been able to post at all this week but in the bits I've read here and there about the case it is getting uglier and uglier. Rhea's side was working the bechaari spin from day one and as soon as the FIR was filed they more than doubled the nastiness. Today's seemingly paid piece on toxic Bihari families was just... gross. On so many levels. And it didn't even make any sense in the context of his case, but I guess its purpose to drive headlines was served. Shweta's husband Vishal wrote a good response to it (along with the one to Barkha's interview), but it's sad he has to do that in the first place.

I feel really bad for Sushant's family. In all these years they never wanted any part of his money or fame; it looked like they were just happy if he was happy. The way they're being targeted just feels so indecent. I'm sure his former friends and other associates are next on the list of targets, including Ankita. I scrolled past a tweet last weekend about how this is going to turn into a variation of the Madonna-whore dichotomy (with regard to the perception of each woman), and I would be surprised if Rhea's side doesn't have something to say about it. But a week later I still have to say Ankita did a fantastic job of helping Sushant's family spin the narrative and I am in awe of her resolve to stand by what she believes is right, regardless of what people have to say about it. It has also been touching to read and see more about her bond with them... yesterday Shweta and Mallika (!) left really nice comments under her post and today Vishal mentioned how Sushant's father absolutely adored her. Her use of "papa" and "daddy" and the fact that she still has a framed picture of his late mother... hits me straight at my heart.

Hi Taz!!! I'm thankful you found your way here! It's not actually invites only, I just wrote that to keep completely random people away lol. I had hoped that everyone I know would show up to nibhao our original pavitra rishta and I'm glad it worked. (Although there are still names I don't recognize at all leaving likes throughout this thread and it's like... just introduce yourself?! We don't bite! lol)

Those old days were so much fun... a couple of days ago I was randomly thinking about ZNKD and remembered the "zara chot dikha" award Sushant won for always being injured. 😆

Girl!!! I have always loved all of your work but these specific ones used to be like crack for me I swear. (Kind of still are, lets be real.) I used to spend so much time staring at them during school, girl you don't even know! 😆

The dance practice ones... oh lawd. I remember there were also some from the rehearsals for one of their first ZRA performances - the one with the black and white themed medley of songs from different decades, where we later realized all the closeness and smiles during rehearsals were not a part of the choreography - oooh those gave me major heart eyes. So thankful you still have these!

I have been wanting to respond to your other posts, and well everyone's other posts, but time has not been on my side. I just want everyone to know that I ❤️ you all and I'm grateful you've been here with me for nearly 50 pages!

Lunza TB niki ........so nostalgic to hear from u.

I agree with lunza that Rhea can be scapegoated. Here in the US, they do these plea deals with the small fry when they want to catch the real criminals. It is different in India though she might be scared of her family. If they could kill Sushant they could kill her family members. She is trapped either way.

TB good to hear from u too. After my Pavitra Rishta phase, I never saw a TV serial again nor commented on one. It just ended for me.i never even came on India forums. The phase ended as abruptly as it began. Forget serials I never watched a movie! Still can't sit through it for 3 hours, just give some reason and excuse myself.

But someone came on 14 June and told me Sushant Rajput committed suicide and I was like what???? The answer was yup it's on every channel and I watched the news.

The first thought that came to my head was the old group........the old group...... .wonder if they have come together to hold hands in this horrible phase of grief?I mean we spent a part of our life on those lively discussions!

Then I started following the case and saw Ankita's interview.

The first thing that hit me was omg this girl is still totally in love with him. Please forgive me if this offends any Ankita fan who feels it was right for her to move on .........it is not about that at all. But you know me, I just say what I feel and what my impressions are.The impressions i got were

She never really got over him

Her not being able to bear pretences and do the we r good friends bit in spite of being in the showbiz world where this is a must card shows the depth of her feelings

The way she said Papa

Her friendship with his sisters. They talked to her and she comforted them when they told her they r losing him.

She was so clearly the daughter in law........she had accepted that family as hers and melted in it like sugar in milk and vice versa from their end too.

The way she told how she would stop him from spending excessively.........only true love does that not gold diggers like Rhea.

She came across as absolutely non bitchy or catty. I mean any girl is miffed with ex-boyfriend's latest as an instinctive reaction.......see the articles in show biz world but she was not judgmental about Rhea rather her focus was only and only on Sushant.

She went to meet his father though they had broken up......while Rhea the current gf didn't.

And the look on her face when she told of his achievements......so proud as if they were her own.

I felt so bad..........bad for the pain her heart was going through and angry with myself for judging her back then and believing those articles about her in that flippant, disinterested way that said she was arrogant and outspoken.

I don't know why they broke up and do not want to go in that but can't help feeling that whatever it was they should have not let it get in the way and simply gotten married.

Sometimes one over thinks and then suddenly wham! life shows it's fickleness and one sees then what the real thing always was. Love never goes but remains hidden.

LOL thanks, TB....I'm glad you enjoyed the gifs....I so enjoyed making them in real time during the course of their journey too :) I actually didn't know I still had these....lol I chanced upon an old folder the other day and it was like such a flood of memories for me then.....

Just like pictures, gifs are like this snapshot in time....staring at them takes you back to that moment in time and brings back all the emotions associated with those memories.

Oh I do have the ZRA rehearsal gifs too....lol and yes, I remember all the speculations about which portion was just these two being themselves and which portion was the actual choreography😆....eventually the obvious turned out to be true😆

Just read it, Vishal's reply to that Bihari families article was so good. Even better than the one he gave to Barkha. He was even more careful with some of the things he said. And I also found that a lil sad that it has some to such a situation for the family - where they are having to fend off attacks on their "toxic mindset", or have to be so cautious about saying anything at all.

I have not been following the "finer details" of the case since the past few days , but I have seen and read enough to know how this has suddenly become such a "left vs right" issue . So much that nobody cares for the grieving families anymore (including Disha's too) .

Rajdeep is such an *beep* .
