Even if this is a base for some future track between kukki and sneha, which seems unlikely at the moment, it doesn't take away from the fact that Bajaj is failing big time as a father to his daughter. The only thing thing which gave that predominantly black character a different layer.

Why are they taking such a different route now and showing time and again what a terrible father he is?
