I can assure you, you would have scrolled past hundreds, if not thousands, of comments before you come across a single abuse. Are those hundreds/thousands of voices of any value or not?

I think you're on the side of nepotism in this nepotism v/s anti-nepotism debate, and that is why there is a saanp loting on your chhati (er.. enraging you) due to the tsunami of anti-nepotism sentiment present. And you're letting that frustration drive you towards potentially substandard products.

I wasn't on the nepo side honestly, infact other than Alia i haven't watched a single new gen nepo kids's movie. I'm one of the few on this forum to have appreciated & celebrated Kartik -an outsider's success when he was being bashed by members for his looks & all (back then even Sushant used to be bashed heavily by members).

Plus i always hated KJo for his elitist attitude. But the way people bullied them, name called them, threatened them to even suicide & whatnot online has been extreme. They didn't deserve it.

Heck even a Hrithik was trolled online for wishing Tapsee on her birthday, just because he's a nepo kid & wished an actress who voiced her opinion against the anti-nepo leader Kangu devi? how is that fair? This whole nonsense has gone way too extreme for me, hence i'll lend my support to the nepo kids.

Your action is being driven by the faceless vile trolls who keep abusing all and sundry. But it's after all your decision and opinion and I respect that 👍🏼

Like other critics do: By studying film journalism and appreciation.

Elitist Kareena Kapoor goes on Barkha Dutt show and blames the audience to watch their movies and make them stars and even goes on to say "don't watch our movies na, no one forced you"

Then when the audience decides to boycott and refuse to watch the movies of nepo kids, here comes the apologists with "what did they do, what is their mistake, give them a chance, don't abandon them yadayadayada"

pathetic

Women's lib? Did she address the sexual harrassment allegations against her husband then? 🤢

I think I should work for shifting Bollywood establishment to Vidarbha region of Maharashtra far away from the Arabian Sea and the capital city of Mumbai.

I'm officially pro-nepo,

I never care most of these nepo kids, actual only Sonakshi has been my favorite among them in the last 10 years. But from now they have my support. Can't believe how The world has many jealousy people

I will probable start with watching this film & Sadak 2 will follow.

I’m amazed how much these people are trying to defend star kids. If this was an outsiders films being disliked, would she be making videos? the fact of the matter is that the lead actress is not suitable for a film like this.
this is not nepotism, this is greed, and manipulation of the system.

I can name 5 other actresses who would have been amazing in this role. You are essentially snatching away this opportunity from other talents, and giving it to someone who does not deserve it. It’s not fair. And it goes beyond who dharma wants to cast and invest money in

As they are talented and have made it on merit. I am not watching the movie. I don't care if it doesn't matter much as a Netflix release. I will give this as much support as Bollywood insiders gave Bulbul. I did not see one insider tweet about Tripti's brilliant performance or the director's great work. It had amazing writing that one could sit and analyze it like a book. Did any insider praise it? I am sure we will see praises from what seems like an another very wooden performance from Jhanvi in the trailer. Things aren't changing Anupama. You blamed the audience for not supporting outsiders. I posted so much about Bulbul and Tripti, I must have exhausted the topic here. There were so many people talking about it on twitter. But not a single insider had the heart to praise the movie.

Nope not watching it. Next time talent like Sharan and Nikhil will know better than to work with a nepo product and nepo producer.

The inherent flaw in this whole boycott campaign is that everyone keeps saying "boycott nepotism products"- are you boycotting Aamir, Hrithik, Rani, Kajol, Farhan, Salman, etc because they also all came into movies initially with their connections? Successful actors like Ranbir, Kareena, etc are being trolled left and right so of course the industry will become defensive.

I would hope that for most sensible people the issue is that they feel certain actors are not talented so then that needs to be the words they use....because there are also many actors with no film background that are not talented. More than that, when people ask to boycott an entire film, they ARE automatically dissing the efforts of 100s of people that brought that film to life. If they don't want to watch a film because they think the lead actor is not talented, that's completely fine and their choice but then they need to focus on that. Thankfully there are people that are voicing issues in the right way (at least the YT comments are decent) but at least on Twitter their words are being lost in the sea of these boycott campaigns.

Re Bulbul: MANY industry people praised the film, I urge you to go check out all of Anushka's RTs and likes on twitter.
