Should I watch Notebook?

Have read rave reviews here. I basically want to watch a nice and gentle story over the weekend.

It's between watching this or SLB's Malaal. Both have newcomers so I have no expectations.

Would you recommend Notebook?

Yes, yes ,yes. OK it's a good movie. Not tragic kind of like October( October is also my favorite movie) so, even if you don't like such movies, you will find it good, in my opinion. It's aesthetically pleasing, natural acting especially the lead actress Pranutan, beautiful message, and good soothing songs. Story is good and cinematography as well. Not boring, you will find fun elements and kids are treat to watch .♥

Both are absolutely beautiful movies, and deserve to be watched. Please watch BOTH.

Notebook - warm, fuzzy and pleasant (more gentle)

Malaal - old school kind of love but done very well from start to end

Notebook is such a nice and feel-good story. Watch it. It will be like a good break :)

So I avoided Notebook because it seemed like another movie where Salman was launching talentless people. But after seeing it being recommended here I am giving it a try. It is really funny so far. The kids, oh my god the kids! They are all so funny and adorable! Everyone single one of them! And they are good actors as well.

I like the dialogue so far. I like Pranutan. She is pretty and not a bad actress either.
