The public was harassing the police to question random people like Aditya Chopra and Karan Johar. That's why they were dragged in. If they weren't called, the same public would moan that the police is not taking the investigation seriously.

Well then my apologies, I was quoting others who claimed this. I don't know the background of OP Singh, if he has previously worked in Patna or if he has any influence in Patna and don't care enough to dig any deeper.

But my original point still stands that the defending side might have reasons to believe that the investigation could be biased if Patna Police gets involved.

I hope this doesn't happen here, because a fit and fine lady can't travel to another state but they expect elderly person to travel? What nonsense.

I just saw on news Anil Deshmukh again rejected the plea to hand over the case to CBI. What is this guy's problem, your state police are not able to handle the case and their shoddy behaviour is being highlighted, so handover the case na, or are you afraid that if CBI takes over then maybe some suspicious business of your govt. and your police will also be revealed.
