The mental illness thing was said by several people who said that if anyone at all thinks outside factors can affect a vulnerable person then they're wrong. They said Sushant's suicide was a personal thing and nothing at all affected him to take that step. Now that the Rhea thing has come out they're saying they're right.. how are they right when they said it's all about mental illnessOriginally posted by: Sashay01
Does it have to be one or the other? Cant we discuss both mental health and the toxic environment of which KJO/unequal opportunities are a part, in separate but parallel conversations? Who would deny that SSR was smeared professionally?
But people were losing their patience with the latter argument being used to "crack" the case. Clearly the family didnt think so and they knew more than us about his life. it was so wrong of some people to use it to talk about their own battles (even if legitimate) in THIS CONTEXT while his case was still open and his fans were looking for answers!!
I hope the debate on nepotism and systemic discrimination continues for years till we actually change how stuff works- but did it have to be done while diverting attention from crucial issues related to SSR's death case, which was not closed yet?
PS: It wasn't diverted. Lots of people here discussed Rhea too.
