I have heard about Surbhi and another fellow as well. There isn't an actual confirmation of the type of character he is going to play either. Like is it going to be a cameo or a supporting or a parallel lead or an antagonist. That would determine a lot of things.

I heard about surbhi and some other girl too. Will know who they are today😆

all the old articles say that dheeraj is doing a cameo with hina while the lead is sc.the latest article only says that its a negative role

I don't think he is playing the negative lead. Not that there is anything wrong with playing a negative character. Playing a successful negative character is probably more fulfilling as an artist. But some of the articles that come out about the entertainment industry especially television are based on speculation and that so speculation from social media. And in recent times because of Dheeraj Dhoopar's prevalent hair style being discussed in the same vain as villians from the mid 2000's daily soaps on certain social media platforms. I believe the news circulated from those speculations.

Kinshuk mahajan and rajat tokas till date showed that ichadhari naags can be fab if the right actor is chosen. Not all male actors I think can pull off the naag avatar without appearing funny (karanvir bohra, no offence to his fans did not suit the naag avatar at all and I couldn't take him seriously in it). I feel dheeraj, if his character plays a naag could actually look good in the role.

Apparently mohit malhotra has been cast opposite hina, and that dheeraj's role is something else. Also gossipstv on insta said that hina, mohit and dheeraj are only doing cameos in N5 and not lead roles. Not sure who the actual leads are.

Let's see. Mohit looks okay with hina but definitely not Dhoopi.

Usually KV is too good for negative role. He is a good actor also. But i haven't seen his naag avatar. Before kinshuk some one else who had played this male naag character. It was Shalin bhanot. He was too good as ichadhari naag. And rajat wasn't a naag he was playing the enemy of naag i think it was mangoose (nevla) but he did a great job as that. The reason why the makers prefer naagins over naag are they can make them as sexy as possible for the audience. But for naags how ever they try there is a limit for them. However male body exhibit doesn't attract much male viewers you know..🤷‍♀️ obviously they can please the ladies who watch the show. But they tho already watch the show and that can be even done by the male lead. So no big difference here (yea, offcourse extra CGI karcha se bach jaayenge ye😆)

rajat played nevla in season-1. but he was a naag in season-3. those two characters were completely different. and he did a great job in both.

Rajat returned in season 3 of naagin in a new role as a naag and he had a much bigger role then compared to when he played a nevla in season 1. I'm actually surprised ekta chose to repeat an actor to play a different character twice. Yes this time I want to see dheeraj in negative.... will give him something new to do. Well lets see considering it is a cameo.
