yes, agreed! And as for not speaking any Indian languages, a lot of American born Indian children can’t speak their native languages either, so that would be a commonality with most NRIs.

I think she said Gujjus wanted Gujju girls and Punjabis wanted Punjabi girls. Which again is a communal thing in India, and she’s in NJ where there’s a huge influx of Gujjus.

I did...akshay’s mom needs to be told that the house she is saying is “hers” n thereby all rules have to be hers and everyone has to comply...she also got married in that house...So maybe it is her mil who owns it or mil’s mil?? Lol ...by her logic no one can claim ownership of the house...given they r living as a joint family...it is so extremely annoying that it becomes amusing at a point...can’t explain.

there are so many things I want to write about that show...it will take me a day...and yes akshay should not get married...I don’t think he understands what marriage is...not to mention someone needs to tell him he is super cringe.

apparently none of the “matches” she made ended up getting married...the only person who had an engagement broke it off...rest are also not together..this is painfully hilarious...all those prospective clients should be informed.

akshays mom is so problematic and whats more sad is that her group of friends agreed with her dictatorship mentality. If i had a mom like that I wouldn’t be mum like Akshay. Unfortunately moms like that do exist and surprisingly most of them are moms with no daughters hence the lack of sensibility.
