I think more than even having them on just as a symbol...it signified the intimacy between them. the closeness between them. mangalsutra, kumkum brought them closer on many occasions.

And I can't watch the accident part...its v difficult for me. I watched it once and that's it. 😒 I normally skip to ML track episodes after their reunion.

True,kumkum&mangalsutra united them,then love came and these things became symbols of their union. For this reason every time they get back together,remarry or not,she starts wearing them.

I know. 😭 Watched these episodes second time now. Too much pain&injustice in them. She had her leg hurt but had to run to the accident spot and all around it to search for him,find him,take him to hospital,see him dead 💔only to save him and return him back to his family. Alive but without the most precious thing in his life.
