How is this different from Aloo asking her directors to take her in films..its her opinion/suggestion to the director that she thinks she fits the role...upto the director to take her or not..
there is a difference, a director comes to narrate a script says its a story about 2 characters and KR says after listening to the entire script, instead of 2 characters if you can make it as one, I can go ahead with it.
The director refuses and KR backs out.
Now you say its a biopic, we all know how much creative liberties biopics take and twist and churn. so let's not make the argument about hey its a biopic.
Now coming to Alia, I have no issues if she requests people to take her in it. Have I ever raised objection to it?
However, if someone else was finalized and she used her mentor KJO to get that movie, its an issue.
My main objection is when they sabotage others by not giving them equal opportunities and by sabotaging others I mean, less theater screens, out of 20 scripts, only 5 available to outsiders, when media is used to sideline someone's success, when PR is used to post blinds, when producers use power to make sure their project sells more.
