Now she can carry films more than Bebo ?
Honey... check out the poster of Veere di wedding. It's not a out and out Kareena movie.

Veere Di Wedding was not a movie where only one actress did the heavylifting. It was not just Kareena's. It's a multi-starrer unless you're discounting Sonam, who is another big name there. Yeah, it's a female dominated ensemble but crediting the movie to Kareena alone makes no sense whatsoever.
Sonam is no where near as popular as Kareena. Heroine opened to nearly 7cr back in 2012, where as Khoobusrat with a comparable genre opened to 2+cr.
I agree that it is not just Kareena that factors in but that's the case for all movies. If the male actors can get sole credit for their movies, then Kareena is the bigger star here and gets the main credit.

But I heard Sonam doesn’t sell 😆

I'm not the one pitting Sonam against Kareena and making it look like she matters less than Kareena in a movie where they share screen space with other actresses.
I disagree that Kareena is responsible for Veere di Wedding's success--you can't possibly suck out the rest of the equally important characters there and lift only Kareena up to a pedestal to credit her for its success. The movie was marketed as a multi-starrer and that's what people went to watch--a group of girls and their story.
I think you brought up Veere Di Wedding to counter the claim I made about Manikarnika's opening. Sorry it didn't go well with you, but Manikarnika did actually pull plenty of people during its opening weekend.
I think you're mistaking me for the grapevine you heard that from. 😛
So people went to see Manikarnika because of kangana, not because of Rani of Jhansi and therefore kangana should get full credit for it, but kareena shouldnt get the credit for Veere Di Wedding success becauce there were some other b-grade actresses (that is what kangana them) in the poster/film. 😆
So who should get the credit for the 2cr opening of Panga?

The entire argument that Kareena is the sole star of VDW, if you can call it an argument at all, is built on a bunch of false premises such as:
Sonam is a lesser star of the two, so she has no hand in the movie's success
The movie was marketed as a multi-starrer but let's go with only Kareena here cuz she's the only star in the movie.
-false premises, both of them.
You can credit Jhansi's queen for Manikarnika's success if you are really that averse to kangana's audience pull, but the movie did have a record breaking opening as far as female-centric movies go.
So who should get the credit for the 2cr opening of Panga?
Let's credit 2 crore opening of Panga to the same entity responsible for Kareena's Gori Tere Pyar Mein 😆

I never denied that Manikarnika pulled people in or Sonam doesn't matter in VDW. All I'm saying is that Kareena was the main crowd puller to achieve the highest female-led opening day. It's equivalent to saying SRK was the main draw for HNY/CE, Salman for PRDP/TZH, Hrithik for Bang Bang, Ajay for Golmaal series, etc. All of these films were marketed equally with other well-known actors but these guys are easily the biggest reason for their opening collections.
It depends on the film. Alia brings in an audience in metros, so does deepika, vidya, kangana, and Priyanka tho.
I’m still assessing how much pull alia has when her films are average content wise. I can’t judge a patriotic theme and when big stars like srk, and now ajay Devgn are in her films. She works on cues.
