Thank you for the summary, I'm yet to watch 😃

Very relieved to know that they did not show up in mask, PPE etc., heard such things are being shown in some shows😆

I think I need to rewatch some of the pre-lockdown episodes to get back my show-mode 😆

Edit:

Done... I liked it too. So good to see the original set up.

I'm repeating myself but dialogues are still pretty good.

The dream sequence....looks like all his dreams end with Dadu + rifle, will be hilarious if something like that actually happens😆 Yes, he does have a sense of the shortcomings in his character - Sumo effect may be 😃

So Dadu has a story, that's actually a nice touch to address the disapproval he has shown from day one.

Sumo's dad's reaction felt like a bit of overreaction who does not judge people without a reason. Yes, he has been shown to be unhappy before but what he said today is like a direct accusation - may be there is a story (hope there is one) or may be he was just pissed off due to his medical report 😆. What I remember from old episodes - Shravan's dad could be a bit of pushover professionally but did not look like dishonest - unless of course there are some changes to fit the story line.

Can't say I mind much cuz she was going overboard in her "I want revenge" streak after the party 😆

Let's pretend R-day etc happened as planned ...in that process all bitterness, hatred etc flew out of the window.... aka previous mode restored....end of that chapter for Kanchan 😆😆

Awwwieee you made a thread 😳

Sweet episode thi I enjoyed it though I think it will take me a bit to get back into groove of watching shows but this was way better than any other thing I've seen there was a flow a connection to previous story. Shravan was as adorable as ever in his dream seq and then his tries to make suman feel good. My fav scene has to be the bunty and shravan I missed them and am glad their dynamic felt the same and they instantly fell in the groove infact all the actors felt just like before so that's a plus for all of them to be able to not let the connect break. 😆

Daadu ka civilian hate felt in sync with his initial thought though I still felt he went a bit overboard with how someone else can choose a civilian I mean I get it to the point that he doesn't want it in his family but he can't be controlling sab army families and what happens in their household that was the part that felt odd to me and hard to digest

My initial thoughts were a bit meh but into the epi they had me in. Yes a certain discrepancies are there and we don't know if we're gonna get the holes closed but that's fine as to nothing major had had happened.

Suman agreeing and being in sync with Shravan was expected since some 2 odd months have passed in the (lockdown ) story period (Jan to Summer). She wouldn't have stayed mad at him for that long obviously😆 Like Meena said perhaps a FB would be good to back it up.

Daadu seemed the most off to me. Hating civilians to not attending a wedding for the reason is a change I feel🤔 But I think you're right. They're trying to reiterate their original borders which the audience may or may not have forgotten. He had given some soft treatment to Shravan in the epis prior to the pause (asking Damru to get chai for him). So perhaps leading to our conclusion of him beginning to find him less irritating.

As far as Kancha goes, I feel she has always been dal badlu😆 I think she was back to being her latoo self at the canteen seq but was mad at Suman for accepting the gift😆

Overall good like you said. The cinematography seemed good/better too. Don't follow any other show. So got my fingers crossed😃

Haha thanks, Bucky😆 I figured since the show is back, I might as well chime in with my two cents again😆

Took me a while to orient myself from where I was last blabbing about them😆.

Word on Kanchan always being "Dal Badlu"😆.....but I prefer this Team Shravan version of her for sure over the vindictive one....lol....oh that reminds me, Bunty still hoping to have a chance with Kanchan and him calling her "Kaancha Cheena"🤣.....I don't remember if he called her that pehle also but jo bhi hai, it cracks me up. And look at Shravan, already so protective of his pyaari Sumo ki sis😆

Re: cinematography....I don't know if something changed but overall, the direction/cinematography of the show has always had a soothing/pleasing quality to it....they don't make it an eyesore.

It's funny but when something returns after so long, you feel nostalgia for random things....like seeing Sumo in her old typical outfits of a skirt with a denim jacket and then the side braid....I was finding that endearing too😆

Lucky you that you have no idea how bad it is on other shows right now which are trying all kinds of psychotic tracks in the name of "new episodes during pandemic"🤔😆

Even I was perplexed about Bunty questioning him as he suggested to Shravan to get married to her instead of asking her out. 🤣Yeah, new nicknames have arrived but how did the drawing book land up at his home? That is so confusing. 😆

LOL yes, Bunty definitely flipped again😆.....the last couple of epis before the lockdown had him all impressed by how Sumo didn't tattle on Shravan and instead tried to protect him from the families ka wrath😆.....but now he's back to being jealous of Shravan not giving him bhaav cuz of a girl😆

Bunty ka life plan involves him and Shravan doing double dates....it's all or nothing....he doesn't want Shravan to date if he doesn't have a date😆

@bold: 🤣 I know which show you're talking about.....haha yes, thankfully we've been spared PPE "romance" in EDKV2 so far.....they are all acting normal and not going OTT in making the storyline pandemic-centric. It's more of a continuation of the regular story.

Re: the dream.....haha yes, all of Shravan's rangeen sapne end with him being in the firing line of Daadu ki rifle only🤣.....Sumo definitely acts as a reality check and a conscience for him.

Re: Col Tiwari....oh yes, he was definitely in a bad mood because of not being able to get back to his post/not getting an all clear on his injury, so some ego was involved there. But clearly, some mistrust has also crept into his friendship with Shravan's dad. Let's see how the two friends try to resolve it.

I liked the ending....both of them asking their kids if they were here to see each other....both the kinds tried to deny it....still the parents encouraged them to meet😆

Oh wow, I'd totally forgotten there was supposed to be a whole R-day event in the storyline😲😆....yeah, that definitely looks like it got scrapped and we probably have to make some assumptions of what happened in that timeframe to make people soften up again. But it thankfully doesn't impact the story that much cuz the show had kinda just started and the characters hadn't settled in that deeply so it's been manageable to show them still finding a baseline.

Kanchan ka toh system restore ho gaya....software reboot😆

LOL yeah, I figured I might as well, since I actually enjoyed a NEW episode after SO long😆

Oh the Bunty-Shravan scene was my absolute fav too, without a doubt.....they are just always so lively and fun in the same frame....Bunty seemed like he got a haircut waise toh😆....but their banter really is the best part of most epis.....especially the way Bunty passes sarcastic comments as he sees Shravan being all smitten with Sumo😆....the entire exchange regarding the drawing book and Sumo's portraits inside....including the CUTE GUDIYA waali😆

The first Sumo-Shravan scene was funny to me too for how far Shravan's imagination stretched, but apni dream mein bhi lazy ka lazy hi raha yeh....elope karne mein bhi phattu😆....wahaan bhi he imagined Sumo only taking the lead.....lol

I know because of the break it felt odd but if we see it as continuation it is meant to be due to the loan given to the chacha by mr malhotra which came out in the last epi pre lockdown so usko lekar they've some narazgi going on and they felt a bit estranged in their friendship but again I also liked that despite the fathers not getting along like before there was this courtesy factor and tehzeeb yeah they are not as pallu but they weren't completely cold either like when mr malhotra wished mr tiwari well on his health and he responded with a thankyou and just the fact that despite whatever is going on mr malhotra still came to check upon his friend. Also both the daddies allowing the kids to still see each other was refreshing

😆 Ek dum lazy and phattu but endearing bhi ke bhag ke kya hoga😆 I toh laughed at his mere bag bhi tum pack kar do sumo😆Even in his dream too. Sahi wala biggada bacha he is but kya hi kehne of his progress in his dreams ke bhagne tak baat pohnch gayi when suman hardly even gives him dosti wala bhav bhi 😆 ek dum Gina chuna😆and phir Avni waking him up like usual😆

Also I didn't really get the scene at dinning table with them trying to eat with fork and changing their habits woh mujhe out of place laga tha
