She is not successful. She is surviving and thriving on her nearness to BJP. This is the reason she got national awards too.

Manikarnika was a bad movie.

To me it looks like she’s trying to fight for a politically correct film industry ...the one that doesn’t put down others or bully others

The one that owes her several awards and accolades because she’s “3 time national award winning outsider”

all well and good ...very noble...

except

- she gets to discredit the achievements of her peers

- call them names when they don’t react on her trailer , praise her to the skies

- make serious accusations on them without evidence
- throw ppl out of movies and claim their credit

But ofcourse her speaking out or criticising anybody/ any film/ any performance is termed “bold” and “brave” (Tapsee is sasti kangana, gully boy is wahiyaat, Sanju is ghatiya... manikarnika is a masterpiece)

All this while someone else can’t have an opinion that is scathing abt her ...that becomes bullying...no u can’t say performance sucks, or u genuinely didn’t like manikarnika...or u didn’t enjoy her performances/films / didn’t share the same POV as her or didn’t like an actor she supposedly likes or didn’t hire her in movies

reminds me of animal farm...all animals are equal but some animals are more equal than others....all bullies are bad but apparently some bullies are necessary 👍🏼...who’s to say this bully won’t pull the same shit with others?

Kangana is a very successful actress of bollywood, actually. You trying to undermine it with her political connections doesn't take away from her reality.

Why I cannot comment on her political connections. If people feel star kids get enough success due to their surname, we can comment on Kangana's political connections.

Considering that she is an actor and looking at her filmography, she has like 2 at the most 3 successful movies...Unless you are talking about her Youtube fans who don’t show up at the theaters to support her movies, what success are you talking about?

Gangster, Krissh, TWM, Fashion, Queen, Manikarnika... they're all great movies where she stole the show and there's more to come. It might not meet your yardstick, but she is a successful celebrity in india. Just because certain people on india-forums dislike her doesn't mean she is not a successful actress.

IF people can complain on nepotism so I can complain on political connections. They are the source of corruption in this country.

I still believe success is important. But you do need allies to maintain that level of success. You cannot have all enemies and not a single ally.

This is my life experience.
