Those people who took pride in "filmi royalty" and whatnot needed to get off their high horses and treat people better. I don't think anyone had taken a stand against them before Kangana called out KJo during that KWK episode. From that point onwards, she became a voice against all the gripes people already had against those bollywood elitists and their shady behavior.

I'll admit that I gave her more leeway in that regard because she became the sole voice against those people whose behavior I despise. I want more people to speak up with that spirit. But equating her to KJo etc and saying one's ISIS and the other's Al Queda makes no sense because she's still not as influential as them. If one or two movies of her don't work going forward, she will be the butt of everyone's jokes and has much more at stake than those filmi royalties who never go out of sight. The level of power is not the same between the two despite her success so far.

I understand her going against KJO but she can't pull every other bollywood bigwig into same pool. One the one hand she has been fighting against elitist like KJo and at the same time she was also indulging into bullying, harrassing, taking credit from writer, taking pot shot at the actors. She is acting almost similar to KJo.

She may not be influential as kjo in bollywood but she is clever enough to use outside support to fulfill her agenda. She attached herself to left wingers and feminist when she was going agsinst Hritikh, those people gave her plenty of media and back support. Then she dumped left wingers only to jump on right winger bandwagon.

So don't say she is not influencal. Else how come she was getting movies after movies inspite of series of flops even after her full fledge war against influencal people like kjo?

I mean, have you seriously not watched how she was demoralized during her initial days? That's how the "hot shots" of bollywood treat newbies who don't come from elite families. Do you have any rationalizations for that? She has a very valid reason to call them out after gaining a firm foothold in the industry.

She needs to stop dragging others through the mud, I'll give you that.

An argument against Kangana, the person, is not the same as an argument against the points she brings up against bollywood mafias. She is a very easy target to hurl personal attacks at due to her past relatinships and some of her erratic ways, but I give her full credit for bringing an important issue to attention and giving a face and name to the voice that was really needed to challenge the unpalatable status quo.

Yes, she is influential, but comparatively speaking, the other side has a lot more nexus in bollywood than she does. I'm not defending everything she does or says because she appears unhinged at times and has to look for the right opportunities to make herself heard ... and she should adopt a better way of getting her points across.
