Karan has always had this superior attitude when he talks and glad he's being called out now as he loves putting down people. Crying and cribbing is the best he can do but now nobody is going to sympathize with him. So many actors have come on his show and spoken about how he used to put them down but only if they had not turned out to be worse, Karan would have been called out earlier.

John said how he was given the role of Robby in K3G who was later played by a TV actor and was not even a character role. Then, Akshay too spoke about him, then Ayushman, Kangana and the list goes on...

Yep! I saw this ten years ago right on this forum. Karan was blasted by all of us. Rightfully so

He knews what's going to sell and KWK were promoting and circulating the clip for days before the episode aired

Besides he was confident he could handle it by mocking Kangu later at public events like this one, IIFA and many others after the epi got aired. Usse kya pata tha TRP ke laalach gale ka phanda ban jayega?
