Ranbir will still get away with it. He will say in interview "whatever Balki said was his opinion. I personally feel im a very limited actor, average actor bla bla bla". Or he can go "i personally believe im a good actor but of course not on that level (insert some hollywood name), but im doing good, and justice for my role, see how the film works, how much it collects that is not in our hand, bla bla bla." Ranbir Kapoor has largely benefited from the music of his films where public often associates the work of the composers, lyricists, singers as that of his own and then these sad, romantic, passionate songs are used to show his "amazing acting"😳 then the people give examples of many AR Rahman and pritam's songs in his films to justify he is the best actorAnd then we are called unintelligent who could not notice his "revolutionary acting" and "deep" characters😆

If only Rajkumar Rao was a starkid, he would get so much appreciation as he is miles better than Ranbir Kapoor.

Rajkumar Rao can never do a YJHD 😆 he is limited.. doesnt have larger then life hero persona... oh and Raj has given flops after flops yet he is getting films so NO, star kids are not the only ones who get away with flops..

Apurva is 100% correct. People watch a movie that has a good screenplay, direction, acting from old established names. With them a star kid is thrust in and the entire PR machinery hypes that star kid. People liked the movie.....they hear PR shouting.....they associate movie with star kid.....they are fooled into thinking movie is good because of said star kid.

Btw PR here includes the entire ecosystem.
