That's because they are different. Tulsi is holy basil and part of the aromatic perennial plant family Lamiaceae. Basil is a culinary herb in the same family. Both are used for very different things. Many people and places use the terms interchangeably but it's wrong.

Scientific names of Basil and Tulsi are different. The leaves look different too.

thats what I’m saying. Tulsi is Holy basil. A group wrote Tulsi while another one, Basil. You can’t put the two together. Had they written Holy Basil, they would have been put into the same group.
