La La Land sucked. I went to the cinemas with my friends and neither of us had watched the trailer so was not aware that it was a musical. When the movie first burst into a song within a few minutes, we brushed our confusion away thinking it was a one off thing. Then they just kept singing and we were doubled over laughing.
