Boi verdict is corrupt. They give Varun's flops (Alia's flop too) an average tag but gave an Anushka Sharma movie a flop tag despite the budget earning ratio wise Varun's should also be a flop.

In the fight of A list superstars re BOI commentary , people dont notice how much BOI protects VD. Street dancer ko flop nahi bol rahe the although the verdict was obvious after the weekend. Not bad for an aging actress who retired in 1996. Read the topic, Mom had a blockbuster collection overseas and did 31 cr net at a 37 crore budget, thats 4 times its budget when you consider worldwide total collection, It should of got an average verdict in India against 900 released theatres and Blockbuster Overseas. It collected $20 million overseas ($17.5M coming from China and $2.5M from other overseas market).

Also I never agreed with BOI elevated her status.

I have very little understanding of how BO works but Maybe it was sold at a high price to the distributors considering it was her first film post the success of EV

It was a movie I didn’t like an it seems only the Asian markets did 😆
