Why is Mom listed flop in BOI When

Movie made 4 times its budget???? It did $20M in overseas and 31 CR net that’s closes to 200 net worldwide again the 37 cr budget??? I know it didn’t do well in India but movie made worldwide the India verdict should be average to above average.

BOI has zero credibility. They're a bunch of paid trolls running an unprofessional website.

ETA: On Mom, it's because BO verdicts are made based on the theatrical run in India, and overseas collections are not considered. Worldwide also there may be a verdict, but the main one is the Indian one.

they gave KANK semi hit verdict where they took overseas collection into consideration. MOM barely released in 1500 screens, 31 cr net and with overseas collection it should be average in India and blockbuster overseas. It’s the same how Hollywood movies measure the success of their movie.

They did exact same with English Vinglish movie release in 750 screens did 40 cr net yet it’s semi hit 😂.

Boi verdict is corrupt. They give Varun's flops (Alia's flop too) an average tag but gave an Anushka Sharma movie a flop tag despite the budget earning ratio wise Varun's should also be a flop.
