Unfortunately the question is redundant...such is the sad state of affairs...These awards are pretty much bogus...n nothing against Arijit...I think he is quite a good singer too...n Sonu nigam is already a proven singing superstar...

Can be popular but for 2004 nothing could get more popular than Shahrukh khan songs... In those days Shahrukh was called in songs to make it a rage... It happened in Mast kalander hey baby 2006 I guess.. And also Dhoom 2

shahrukh songs always had the star feel then but when you look at murder( a film with most popular music album along with veer zara and MSK for that year ) it was a film with newbies and to get such chartbuster songs signifies the quality of its music.

Also , I prefer audio of bheegey hoth over video. I am not denying that sonu is a great singer but emotions that he has put in Bheegey Hoth are unmatchable
