How Come Sonu Nigam didnt won Filmfare for best songs ?

While Arijit got awards for his medicore songs in past few years .... Sonu Nigam songs which are now classics were ignored by filmfare community back in his days.....

in 2006 Himesh Resahmiya won Ashiq Banaya best singer award ,, Over 2 Sonu Nigams nomination of "Piya Bole" from Pareenta and "Dheere Jalna: from Paheli.... A song like "Sau Dard Hain Sau Rahatien" never got nomination in filmfare ...its almost like few people in the industry wanted to bring him down from his peak days too

I'm pissed he didn't win for Abhi Mujh Mein Kahin. That song was practically the song of 2012 and he sang it beautifully.

I checked he only won 2

2002 for Saathiya title song and 2003 for Kal Ho na Ho title song

maybe he should’ve won more. KK has none tho 😞

Ashiq Banaya apne definitely deserved the award over those 2 songs. It's an iconic song.

The only one where I was truly bummed was Abhi Mujh Mein Kahin.

Kunal Ganjawala deserved it for Bheege Honth Tere. Love his voice.

Abhi mujh mein kahinn was one of the gems from sonu...sad he dint win for it...KK has never won!!!!!😕😭
