I mean like he was a kid during Dyut Sabha maybe around 8-10 and was there in the hall. The sudden turn of events, his dad turning a monster(I am sure Duryodhan would have been great as father to Lakshman) towards his Kakas, his uncle ordering for disrobe of his Kaki, his chhote pitashree actually trying to disrobe her Kaki

The psychological effects of this on the kid. Seeing the true faces men whom he loved the most/ respected highly. Hearing the heartfelt pleas of his favourite Kaki(I am sure a 8 year old wouldn't understand the legal and moral points she was making). He couldn't cope with it, suddenly his dad, his hero turned into a villian in front of his eyes, yet his love for his father continues, he is still ready to die for his father. His growing up Completely dismantled due to it

This psyche and emotional conflict actually makesba great premise for a story

Maybe I am slightly twisted to unusual, but after reading Abhimanyu Vadh, I have actually started liking Lakshman, he was definitely not as stupid as I thought him after hearing the Abhimanyu Balramdaughter story. His story is something to be told

I really hope someone writes an OS on him

Anyone on this

Agnigarh is a place where Usha was kept captive by his father Banasur. It's in Tezpur

I know from many times actually about Vajra being Anirudh-Usha's son.

Yeah. That scene 😆

Read the part above it. I've mentioned it here time and again. KMG was protecting Krishna's reputation 😆 IMO, the scene merely adds a layer to the Krishna Arjuna Panchali friendship, but KMG clearly disapproved.😆

Pindike means male plumbing. Pindike is the word used in Sanskrit.

7 na hy asya nṛpate kiṃ cid aniṣṭam upalakṣaye

ṛte puruṣasiṃhasya piṇḍike 'syātikāyata

https://www.sacred-texts.com/hin/mbs/mbs14089.htm

Conversation was something like this:

Yudhishtira: Why's this guy Arjuna so miserable always?

Krishna: (silent)

Yudhishtira: You HAVE to say something

Krishna: Arjuna's miserable because he's the one who always has to fight. He's the one who always has to fight because he's the one with the big d***.

Panchali: (glares at Krishna for the nonveg joke).

They laugh.

------

Pindike can also mean cheekbones which is prob why translators took that way out. But you tell me which translation fits better in context 😆

_____

Same scene from CE English also says cheekbones, but it doesn't say Panchali couldn't bear any slights of Arjuna.

Chapter 1924(89)

udhishthira said, “O Krishna! I have heard your agreeable words. They are indeed words that

you should speak. O lord! They are like amrita and gladden my mind. Vijaya has indeed fought

many battles with the lords of men, here and there and repeatedly. O Hrishikesha! I have heard that.

Vijaya is extremely intelligent. However, it oppresses my mind that Partha is always separated from

happiness. What is the mystery behind that? O Varshneya! I always think about Kunti’s son.

344

Krishna! His body possesses all the auspicious marks that are revered. What is the inauspicious mark,

because of which, he always suffers misery? That son of Kunti has always borne a disproportionate

share of sorrow. I do not see anything on Bibhatsu’s body that can be censured. If you think I deserve

to hear this, you should explain it to me.”’

Vaishampayana said, ‘Having been thus addressed, Hrishikesha reflected for a very long time.

Vishnu, the extender of the king

345 and the king of Bhoja, replied. “O king! No inauspicious marks

can be seen in him, but for the fact that the lion among men has cheekbones that are exceedingly

large. That is the reason the tiger among men is perpetually fighting. I do not see any other reason

why Jaya should have his share of misery.” O lord! Thus addressed by the intelligent Krishna, the

foremost among the Kurus told the tiger among the Vrishnis that this was indeed true. However,

Krishnaa Droupadi cast a sidelong glance towards Krishna.

346 The slayer of Keshi accepted this as a

sign of affection. She was his friend. Dhananjaya was also his friend and like Hrishikesha himself.

Thank You for the details. I will go thru and trouble you about it in a while. Appreciate your efforts🤗

Firstly mind your language. If i am talking with you in a civil manner you should return the courtesy.

And you are going to report my post because I asked for citation in Mahabharata forum where most of the debates are based on such citations. Seriously 😆

I would love to see what mnx says about this
