26th March Written Update

Fast paced epi today.....I'm loving Liza more and more; her and Abhay make an adorable couple!😳

Waiting for the sparks to fly between Uday and Lajwanti as well!😉

Highlights:

Everyone celebrates the alliance

Rekha asks for two months time

Uday assures Lajwanti that he's happy with the marriage

Update:

The men hug and congratulate each other as the women come down to join them. Uday is the centre of attention with everyone forcing him to dance and feeding him sweets – Lajwanti watches from upstairs. Just then Lajjo's mama says that now the alliance ahs been fixed they should also arrange a wedding date. However Rekha intervenes saying that it's her sons wedding and she wants it to be perfect.

The family looks uncomfortable as Rekha asks for a minimum of two months but Jaswant and Lajjo's mama agree. Everyone goes back to celebrating and chatting as Uday slips out to take a call. Lajwanti follows him and with her head bowed, gives back the kangan saying that she's not worthy of them and neither is she worthy of his family.

She adds that she has accepted her fate and tells him not to go through with this wedding if he is under pressure. Uday refuses saying that there is no pressure and returns the kangans as they have been given to her by his family with love. Lajwanti quietly walks away.

Inside; Rama tells Ranbir that it's late and they should be heading home. Dadaji takes his leave from Jaswant and the Singh family head back home; talking happily amongst themselves about the wedding and Lajwanti.

Anjana tries to talk to Rekha who snaps at her saying that she's tired and wants to rest. Anjana looks hurt and confused.

Hotel…

Liza is lost in thought and Abhay calls out to her but she doesn't hear him. He hugs her and asks her what she's thinking about – Liza replies that she was thinking about Uday and how much he has done for them. Abhay agrees; just then his mobile rings with Uday on the other side who happily assures him that soon Ranbir will forget his anger and they will be back in the house.

Abhay congratulates him. Liza asks what happened and Abhay gives her the news about Uday and Lajwanti's marriage. She is ecstatic and excited about the wedding and recounts an Indian friend's wedding she had gone to in Londond and remembers singing an SRK song. She sings and dances to Bole Chudiyan happily but Abhay is forced to calm her down and regretfully explains to her that they may not be able to go to Uday's wedding.

Liza looks crestfallen and says that she will pray that Ranbir will forgive them soon. Abhay then flirts with her saying that they should 'sleep' now and she can pray all she wants in the morning.

Singh house…

Rama happily talks about Lajwanti and tells Ranbir that she is proud of his choice. Uday comes in and they bless him; however he grins and says that they won't get away by just giving blessings as he wants a gift as well. Ranbir laughs and tells Uday to asks for whatever he wants but Uday simply smiles in reply and says that when the right time comes he will surely ask for his gift. Uday and leaves and Ranbir wonders what the gift was – however Rama knows and thinks to herself that they are waiting for the right time.

Rekha's room…

Vinay vents out his frustration about Lajwanti becoming the daughter-in-law of the family. Ruchi agrees and wonders why Rekha agreed to marriage. Rekha comes from the bathrooma nd Anjana asks her if she's okay as she took a lot of time btu Rekha replies that she had to give Lajwanti the kangans today and so had to make sure that her hands were properly washed.

Vinay is furious and asks what the use of such talks is now as she hadn't said a thing at Jaswant's house. Ruchi agrees and acidly says that they will have to face embarrassing situations within their friends circle and society now. Uday's dad argues with them saying that Lajwanti will adjust to the family.

Rekha steps in and clearly tells them that whilst she is alive this wedding will never take place.

Uff; what has this Rekha got planned now?....Hoping Uday will stand by poor Lajwanti - the girl is to naive!
