These people (Mahesh Bhat and Sony Razdan) never cared about ethics.

They converted to Islam, not because they hadfaith, but to marry as per their convenience (Mahesh Bhat had not divorced his first wife). Seems Mahesh Bhat’s first wife (Puja Bhat’s mother) did not even know when these two got married.

How can these people with no values understand other’s pain, when they can’t feel sufferings of their owns.

Why is she 'ranting' anyway when she knows "real talent and audiences acceptance" is there for her daughter? Kisne chikoti kanti?

Alia's biggest enemies are her biological parents, foster dad n adopted boyfriend.

The kind of arguments these people try to present under the garb of intellectualism is just how difficult is it to STFU for once. They're making matters worse for Alia😆

Is it? I always thought that since mahesh bhatt's mom was a Muslim he had an affinity towards Islam..

Speaking of the same, director Hansal Mehta took to his social media to speak of how his son will someday make films but his career will not be shadowed by the success of his father. He wrote, “This nepotism debate must be broadened. Merit counts most. My son got a step in the door because of me. And why not. But he"s been an integral part of my best work because he is talented, disciplined, hardworking and shares similar values as me. Not just because he"s my son. He will make films not because I will produce them. I might not. But because he deserves to make them. He will have a career only if he survives. It is ultimately him and not his father who will build his career. My shadow is both his biggest benefit and greatest bane.”

This quote alone explains the flaw in their thinking. Any mother would believe there son deserves the best. Parents will also think there son deserves to get into medical school. But ultimately the choice is not in their hands. The choice is in the hands of the admission committee. People may think there son is most qualified for a corporate job. But decision in not in their hands. It is in the hands of the hiring committee. By giving him a foot in the door she is both the parent blinded by love and the committee who decides who gets foot in the door.

Working hard who is she comparing him to?. My relatives though I worked hard on the LSAT. My score reflected that I scored better than 93% of Americans. But that means there was that seven percent that worked even harder than. My family friends, my personal friends saw how hard I worked. But they didn't see how hard those other people worked. Maybe they didn't work as hard and just innately had better logical and analytical skills but that also proves they are more qualified to become lawyers. Point is she isn't comparing her sons hard work to a group of people who are working as hard to get that same foot in the door as him. She is just comparing his hard work to his hard work.

I wonder if Alia's family and others felt obliged to speak out due to the flak Karan is getting. And he is whining about not getting enough support from the industry. When people are obliged to speak out and they don't really believe in the cause. They also aren't capable of making valid arguments. IMO!

Why is she the only person getting interrogated? Why not any of the bigger names?

It’s so funny to see people like Soni Razdan défend nepotism, without understanding why people are upset. It’s like they don’t want to try. The underlying issue is how people like Alia, are profiting, contributing to the prevalent mediocrity in BW, whilst taking opportunity AWAY from deserving candidates. This industry discounts merit too much and hardworking, talented people are often at the receiving of the short stick.

this argument, your kids will also join BW, so what’s wrong if I do it too is such bullshit. First, soni is projecting her present into someone’s potential, untold, unpredictable future. Like such garbage arguments to prevent actual dialogue so that her mediocre child along with KJo can just laugh to the bank.
