How did the same Pinkvilla , Masand running blinds on how he has no offers suddenly change into 'oh he had many offers but he was mentally ill , so it din't work out? ' . Pinkvilla now specifically says he had Anand l Rai production film , Kamal jain film , Resul film and the same publication was slandering him saying he has no work , supreme arrogance , couldn't utilise a hit film also literally two weeks back.

In short , before his death : He is arrogant and jobless .

After his death : He had all the offers in the world , its just that he had already given up.

P.S - I am not denying he wasn't mentally struggling but I hope you see how the media narrative has suddenly changed.

Pinkvilla / Masand are not the MEDIA, Pinkvilla used to be a Fan forum run by Bollywood fans, they got into the limelight after having fight with RK/Kareena.

Yeah I agree with this. I mean Justin Bieber was accused yesterday after the Ansel Elgort allegations, and his got proven as false. STILL people were trying to say he's an abuser. Like do people not understand what a huge deal sexual abuse is?

In the he said, she said cases where victims make it public it's very complex. I don't wanna invalidate a victim but at the same time I don't wanna blame someone who could be getting falsely framed. So in those cases it's better to reserve your judgment I think until you're sure about it.

Because I remember there was a 16 year old girl who accused a 60 year old man of sexually assaulting her on a bus and he got beaten up to death, and then they saw on CCTV camera that he didn't do anything so he basically died for nothing. I understand that it's a sensitive topic but drawing judgment is so wrong, people should be neutral in the public he said, she said cases until there's proof.

Pinkvilla is read by one and all. Katrina herself had confirmed. Even Vidya had once said how all these blinds are read by the industry ppl.

But that's the thing with MeToo cases, there's NO proof!

And that was the concept about the movement for women to speak up because such cases don't have proofs!

Yeah it's so tricky, isn't it? There's no proof so people could be saying the truth but some could also be saying a lie. How do we determine it so that we make sure a victim gets justice and also make sure that a person doesn't get their life ruined over a false accusation

As I said it was highlighted by that big fight with Ranbir, where they exposed him. The industry might be reading their stuff, but it doesn't count as MEDIA. MEDIA reach is far bigger than them.

I am reading about Blinds mainly online-only, hardly anyone in real life or audience interested in films bothered about them.

Pinkvilla has always been trash. No doubt blinds were planted against Sushant calling him arrogant and jobless by people in BW earlier and now they're backtracking because they know the public will blame the industry. Blinds have become part and parcel of BW in the last 10 years. Everyone is always planting garbage against each other. Not just blinds but full on articles too.

They get full help from fans who give momentum to blinds about their rivals. Everyone loves gossip when it's not about their favorites. Even this week, I saw rival fans of celebrities taking advantage of this situation to increase the negativity towards their favorite's rivals.

We are all at fault.

+1000000

Nobody in the real world even knows what blinds are. Most people don't know any gossip at all. My parents watch all movies but know nothing about anything. They don't even know who Salman's girlfriend is. They only see it something if it comes up in their youtube recommendations or gets forwarded on whatsapp. The only time I ever saw gossip going out into the real world was that viral Kangana Aaj Ka Adalat interview against Hrithik and these stupid anti-BW petitions after Sushant's death.

In the blinds case. We should have known better. The idea was to let women speak up comfortably. There was no way to prove Rajiv got that news from the woman. And when the women herself clarified within three weeks. That was the woman speaking up and we should have listened to her. Not to say woman don't falsely accuse. But it would take a lot for woman to take on the title of rape victim for false accusation. There is a stigma attached and it is usually worse if not still very bad for the woman having been raped than it is for the man. In some parts of rural India they won't be able to get married.

I have to commend you I did read you comment there. You said you were shocked about how someone as well educated like Sushant could do that. You used terms like "If it is true" and didn't take it for face value. But we were all mislead by the campaign to some extent.

I am wondering if I ever bashed him after that. I don't think I did. But I should have commented on the Chichore thread. People were making fun of his makeup. I thought the acting was brilliant besides the makeup and should have voiced that. I watched it to kill time in December when I was on holiday break form school.
