The same KWK where snotty KJo humiliated Ranveer the entire show and even told not to take ranveer for BBB. And other time, KJo mentioned him as "the other name you mentioned". He did not want to even acknowledge ranveer and was putting him down to show ranbir as the best thing since sliced bread.

Yrf usually has a 3 film contract and they weren't releasing him to work with SLB. There were many articles about him being approached for ram leela. Had that not been the case, SLB would've cleared that himself . Regarding ranveer's first film, he was good. But his performances after that were below average. Even sushant, rajkummar and amit were good in their first film ,and as good as ranveer. But they weren't even acknowledged. Sushant did shudh desi after that. His costar parineeti was also invited but he wasn't. I'm not measuring the level of success by judging KWK. But one can very well measure the amount of favouritism by seeing who's invited and who's not. Believe it or not, when outsiders enter bollywood they do wish to be a part of karan gang and kwk. And that u can deduce by siddhant's statement ,regardless of the fact that kwk isn't a measure of someone's success.

So how Couldn’t they let him sign a SLB movie especially mentioning Ram Leela when Ranveer signed it at the beginning of 2012 just like the article mentioned and they were about to start in July 2012 But couldn’t cause Kareena left for a Karan Johar production. Sushant had no deal with YRF at that time when ranveer signed Ram Leela.

I said it earlier if they release when he signed the contract with YRF you will know that at that time there was no contract and it’s a baseless rumour that he wasn’t allowed to sign the movie but ranveer was.

Ranveers first appearance at KWK was after BBB and not after some other film. Comparing a performance is subjective but the hype was definitly not the same like the others you mentioned.

Saying all outsiders want to be there or partying with Kjo that’s something different. Kjo gang is one thing and inviting people is something different.

BBB released in dec 2010 and ranveer was called on KWK just after its release in april 2011, and that was his freaking 1st film. Same with parineeti, she was invited soon after ishaqzaade released.

Kai po che which was sushant's first film had the buzz as it was based on chetan bhagat's novel ' five point someone'. Movie did good business ,their performances were crtically acclaimed. Yet there was no buzz around him like it was for ranveer that too after a mediocre performance in BBB.

And if you think ranveer is an outsider , then please check his wiki profile and google his childhood pics with sonam and family in their birthday parties. He is sonam's cousin and the fact is that it was pretty easy for him, no hussle at all.

And like i said KWK is not a measure of success but favouritism, heck even karan himself is an epitome of nepotism and favouritism. RS being included in his gang so early in his career is a proof of favouritism towards him if not karan's then yrf's.

And sorry for my mistake , i've just checked on wiki . Both shudh desi and kai po che released in the same yr so yes he was bound to yrf at that time. Kai po che is abhishek's movie and shudh desi is of yrf.

You do know that every movie takes a different amount of time to be made.

Sushant signed YRF at the end of 2012 when ranveer was already shooting SLB movie and would have startet even earlier when Kareena wouldn’t have left.

IF sushant couldn’t sign it then it was because of Kai Po Che which is UTV and I must say He had balls to say no to Bhansali who wanted to launch him with Ram Leela but he rather choose Kai Po Che.

Heads off to Bhansali wanting to launch a newcomer directed by him something only ranbir kapoor got.

Can’t say anything about other movies Sushant say no since 2013 when he was bound to YRF.

How does it even matter? OK.. Befire was only fr ranveer.. So what now.. Still nothing changes about what they did to him..

There was buzz for a mediocre performance? I mean whatever. for you it was mediocre for the people who created the buzz it wasn’t. Something that is not ranveer fault if people talked about him.

It’s the audience at the end of the day who actually creates the buzz and unfortunately it was always the audiences fault that Sushant didn’t get the buzz. Look at kartik. It’s the audience who made him visible so that Karan and his Gang notice him.

Outsider or insider whatever you wanna call ranveer I don’t care. Hussled or not hussled is again different for anyone.

But saying he is part of Karan gang at that time because he was invited to KWK is far fetch 😆

In the interview, he himself is saying that he would like to do a DBB kind of film, yet here ppl claiming he wasn't given big projects, why are ppl claiming things which he himself isn't interested?

Exactly, most of the time kjo would make fun of Ranveer on kwk, and kjo would always ask the 'ranbir or Ranveer' question to compare the two. It was so obvious kjo preferred ranbir over Ranveer, he wouldnt even hide his favouritism

The only reason why kjo has cast Ranveer in takht is because his past few films have done very well and Ranveer is really good in the historical genre
