Shlok likes her already, and Gunja too, is a kid. She will soften up sooner than later, more so if interacts with Tara without Chandni and Ranja in the scene.

The show has been quite fast paced till now, I hope it stays that way.

His wife must have died in fire or something they are hell scared of fire.

The first scene when she was in mandir and dancing Dhrubo saw it.

His wife did die in a fire, as per what Ranja told Tara. And he is very jumpy about the fire, and his families safety. There is a rumour that he has murdered his wife, so it must have been quite mysterious?

Yup, he did. He also took the flower that fell from her hands. That was a nice moment. A little surprising too. But okay, he kept them as a memento. Before then, he hadn't met Tara, she was a mystery to him.

So.. I've woken up at the crack of dawn (okay, maybe not exactly that) to watch Dhrubotara and it was so worth it.

Tara is in Dhrubo's room and she realises that she shouldn't have barged into his room without knowing. Tara is so sane. Try and name one ITV lead who behaves like a rational person, just like Tara does. Just try!

And then Dhrubo comes out from his exercise session? He's wearing this vest that says Alpha. And I might have just hollered like a mad person, waking up people, because he is. He's so ALPHA.

So Tara wants to quietly get out of the room until she notices Dhrubo just eat tablets after tablets like puffed rice. And she's wondering what he could be taking medicines for... (So Shaon and Mishti, you guys were onto something. The medicines will come up in the future. I just hope it involves a romantic moment) Anyway, Tara notices Anuja's picture in his room and questions whether Dhrubo is really capable of murder when he clearly misses his first wife.

And then WE GET THE SHIRTLESS SCENE.. Well the sort of shirtless scene coz we only saw his back. (But I'm not complaining). He puts on a shirt and is looking for his tie when he notices Tara. And I must say that I absolutely adore how Dhrubo tries to intimidate Tara.. This scene is really good! And I don't want to give a blow by blow description because one must see it and enjoy it. (And I don't even understand why I'm writing this written update type review of the episode anyway but here goes nothing.) First she is flustered but our Tara has backbone, so she stands up to him. But there's a few goofy moments too that put a goofy smile on my face. And I absolutely love Tara's parting shots at Dhrubo. Like what a mic drop moment.

So then Chandni comes and takes issue with Tara's sass. And decides to take it upon her to bring Tara a few pegs down. And so, she instigates Gunja and gets Shlok to eat the food that Tara cooked for him knowing full well that he shouldn't be eating it.. Shlok is allergic to noodles I guess because he was definitely eating noodles. Agni and family get invited to Tara's reception by Ranja and Agni agrees to come with gifts for Tara. Which doesn't bode well. Also are we going to get a big reveal regarding the Deepti-Saikat angle? And it looks like Shekhar is gonna be back soon, yay!

And then, Tara was looking so pretty as she gets ready for the Bhat-kapor thingy. (Hotstar's description for the episode was that Tara prepares a sweet surprise for Dhrubo. Was she getting ready meant to be the surprise?) Also, we had some foreshadowing as Ranja said, "take whatever you are getting because who knows what the future holds for you."

Well, the future is going to hold a very angry Dhrubo because before the ritual can take place, Gunja raises the house on her head as she finds her brother unconscious. Which is a shame on so many levels because Dhrubo was looking absolutely, teeth-rottingly sweet leading up to scene and when he tried and failed to convince his sister from doing the ritual. Not to mention the fact that Chandni endangered a child in order to get Tara into trouble. And I just want to see justice done because Shlok is such a pure soul. But I'm not going to get my wish anytime soon because the precap showed Gunja accusing Tara of poisoning Shlok and Dhrubo turning to his new wife with murder in his eyes.

But it was a great episode all in all with a lot of screen time to our one true couple!

Also, let me take a moment to appreciate the serial's title track because it's so, so good. Ah but then, what isn't good about this show?

A big congratulations to Dhrubajyoti Lahiri, for he has surpassed even my aunt in the number of medicines he takes. Mind you, my aunt has a little plate for medicines. It is a huge achievement, Mr Lahiri.

My smart, sensible, normal human being, I love you so much, you have no idea. The way you decided to walk out because yes, you shouldn't have barged in, the way you halted in your tracks because who eats medicines like its candy? And your parting shot...

A moment to appreciate Gunja, she looked upset when Dhruba was shouting at Tara (hahaha, this is the least frightening moment they have had, compared to their other interactions, this was simple, cute, banter).

A moment to appreciate Shlok, because he is such a sweet, gentle, caring soul and I love him a lot ❤️

A moment to appreciate Mahi, who looked super cute and was so happy when she saw the necklace prepared for Tara. What a brilliant girl ⭐️

Lots of foreshadowing, which I love, moments to love that, and to appreciate Pishimoni. She really loves Tara, and even Manju looked uncomfortable at Agni's words, she knows he is planning something and she isn't happy about that. Ashish is Ashish, of course.

Bhat kapor is one of my favourite rituals, and I was so glad that Dhruba stood still and didn't drop the plate in a melodramatic moment. Thank you for that.

Also, he shares a lovely relationship with Jamai Babu. He was all smiles coming down the stairs, and the Shala Babu simply touched my heart. 😃

The title track is amazing, I got the link on Facebook and have been listening to it ever since.

Chandni disgusted me today. Using a child to fulfil her own evil motives.... Ugh, what a terrible human.

And didn't Shlok know he was allergic? I guess he didn't, because he was so happy eating the food.

All in all, I am VERY HAPPY
