Look the problem is Sonam is very biased if she does it she will do draupadi herself and she can't act. She will probably bring in some new actor to play Krishna ig like she did with all the films where she had prominence and I don't want it because I really want RK as Krishna be it AC Govinda or even some other interpretation whatever it is.

Any modern telling of Draupadi will have Karna as hero, It is popular mindset, you can see my comment before I started reading Mahabharata, Karna was my favorite and I disliked Arjuna-Krishna

I thought Draupadi was haughty and arrogant with casteist mindset

I have nothing against Karna being made the hero, He has taken that spot in the human mind, and we have to live with the fact that no maker will dare break this notion. Dharmakshetra actually had Karna putting his gaze down and leaving when Duryodhan ordered Draupadi's Vastraharan

In fact Dusshashan asks Dury on why didn't he ask Karna to do the dirty work instead of him(to show that he wasn't a good brother)

But why include a love story is my problem. Just because a person is good doesn't mean you need to love him/her

Though I liked POI for it's narration, the Karn-Draupadi angle, and Draupadi-Pandavas angle irked me.

Well in that my case is opposite 😂. Karna ceased to exist for me. I knew only Pandavas, Draupadi, Kauravas and obviously Krishna.
