The weed has leaves somewhat similar to the rose plant but it isn't rose

Here's what my mom suggested;

Try checking if the weed has any connection to the main plant below soil. She said sometimes the parent plant can remain vestigial from grafting and force itself to look like weed (it mostly doesn't flower and hence the dilemma)

If it isn't attached to the main plant in any way, try plucking out the weed along with entirety of its root system. Dig out soil, keeping at least an inch's distance from the weed and sort of do the catapulting action. Try using any 1 tine - cultivator or pointed object.

Should do the trick I suppose🤔
