Due to his bad image he was not getting any brands to endorse despite hit movies. So how can his so called friends say he had money?

And his closest friend apparently is The Image Consultant Rohini Iyer!!

Not sure about movies, but I don't think he was broke..he earned quite a lot during his TV days, 2 successful serials and 2 very successful dance shows..he once said even if he doesnt get to work for 5, 7 yrs, he'll be fine financially..his films also did well commercially..I think since his last 2 films were dumped in OTT platform, he got a bid scared...box office decides future films so probably thought without the BO success of these films, he might not get films..this caused him to ask Nitesh for a film, maybe he also liked Nitesh and wanted to work with him again...

He did have money. He was making 1 crore+ type donations.

I don't know if maybe Komal Nahta was just trying to save the industry or not but he said on TV that Sushant was getting plenty of offers but he was refusing to meet producers because he didn't want to do them. It could very well just be that he was waiting until the right movie came and didn't just want to sign ones he didn't like.

I dont think money was an issue for him ...apprently he had plenty of money in his account...

I saw a clip of his interview ... He wanted to make a big name for himself and he was very passionate it was clear from his voice and tone he spoke in...and you could see that twinkle in his eyes

Even though he has done good quality work ..he never got his due as a good artist ... That is probably one of the reason for his depression ...probably a significant one

It was learnt from interrogating his employees that he was not doing financially well. Had no movie, decided to do web series for 14 crore a deal which his previous manager, who had also committed suicide, was supposed to help him get. She died so did his chance of getting that project.

Celebs spend almost as much as they earn, they need to maintain a certain lifestyle. And those 1crore donations he gave in 2018. 1.5 years have past. And he hasn't signed any film yet.

oh I didn't know that. This was reported in the news?

But aren't people saying the manager died accidentally? I've heard in so many places that she was drunk and fell and that it wasn't a suicide. She was also his ex-manager, not the current one, so why would she be involved with the web series? Plus why would his deal end due to the manager dying? If they wanted Sushant, they could still get him without the middleman.

There are so many conflicting reports it's so hard to figure anything out.

He probably didn't get the deal yet, it was just lobbying on lobbying stage It's not clear but I think I read the ex manager was a part of that project (as AD, promoter, or some other)
