Why would he lie ? Chichore was a huge hit and he also had Drive, Dil Bechara, Kedarnath, Sonchiriya. Its another thing that he didnt get his deserving credit

Achcha! What were his next films, no movie of his was on the floor, there was no announcement of his next project. Rumi's film was the only one we got to know only after his death. That also a C grade film. Why would the hero of a hit film work in a C grade film or lobby to work as supporting cast in an Alia Bhatt Sanjay Dutt starrer B Grade film, or ask for work to the director of his last hit (Everyone and his mom knows after Chichhore's success, industry kids are gonna buy the director to be cast in his next film, They didn't lobby for Chhichore coz they thought Dangal was hit because of Aamir only)

He had money, he had work. That's not the point.

Last signed movie in 2017. That means he didn't earn much in 2018-2020.

Due to his bad image he was not getting any brands to endorse despite hit movies. So how can his so called friends say he had money?

I dont think he had a financial problem. He kept sponsoring kids , students to NASA and doing charity.

Recently heard he gave 1 cr for another state silently. That politician came out and announced that recently. This is not the published donation he made , another one.

it's amazing how quietly he donated and even before this covid pandemic

Akshay Kartik made such a big deal about their recent donations for the funds, it's a good thing but they did it with fanfare

he set aside rules for taking him in films, I heard. Like even in Rumi's film, Rhea is also in it. He also had Anand L Rai's film on his platter. He wasn't jobless!
