What Sushant went through

Most of posts are indicating how Sushant are targeted. Even in film like dhoni he didn't get credit. This reminds me of topic when troll said the same discrediting his performance arguing with me nobody even joined the conversation to support Sushant.

Nways the point here Sushant went through lot but he could still survive . A career is not important then ur own mental health. If u can deal with it go ahead if u cannot leave it. One more thing I think men don't express like women. They feel they will come across weak. Expressing ur issues helps in dealing with such circumstances.

To be very honest, I think everyone is speculating. Noone knows the reason why he did what he did and are jumping on a bandwagon where they're doing exactly what they are criticising xyz for.

And I am glad sushant is getting appreciated but I also dislike how it's now people are waking up to his work. A lot of people who are talking about him today werent in the picture when he was present.

I’ve seen shahid go through a similar phase. Kaminey no awards, jab we met no awards , haider no awards and udta no awards. same with kabir singh aswell hut atleast ppl called out the bias strongly this year.

Wish the same happened in 2017. Atho that year Aamir won for dangal that year which was deserving too.

Shahid won Best Actor for Haider in FF main award

Its good that people are waking up. Like Sushant said, nepotism and outside talent can co-exist but the day nepotism takes over outside talent, the whole system will crumble and that is what is happening now or at least an attempt is being made to introspect the system.

Exactly this! It's also the same people who liked to speculate about him (Me Too, break up with Ankita, attitude, druggie, called him ugly and went as far as making polls...)

People know damn well that celebs come and read stuff on themselves on the Internet and here on IF. Some people like it and go as far as harassing celebs on their SM and now that there is a death they want to take the higher ground and this based only on speculations ? Laughable.

Same people who were hailing Alia because she's supposedly talented are now putting her down. Laughable.

that is not true, for filmfare shahid won the best debut award, and he won best actor for haider and best actor critics for udta punjab. In the Screen awards he won best actor for kaminey and haider and best debut. For the stardust awards he won best actor for Jab we Met, Kaminey, haider and best debeut for ishq vishq

I was going by Filmfare only to cut out the noise. But ok thanks.

This has happened to Aamir, years back, despite him coming from an established bollywood family. He was never recognized in the start of his career, despite giving a string of superhits and always giving standout performances in every movie. He was nominated for movies like Jo Jeeta Wahi Sikandar, Dil, Dil Hai Ki Manta Nahi, Hum Hai Rahi Pyar Ke, Andaaz Apna Apna and Rangeela.

Only nominated, but never awarded, because he refused to come to award functions and never pandered to the media or the established Bollywood clique at that time. He debuted in 1988 and it took him 8 years to win his first filmfare award, despite having given so many hits and flawless performances in all his movies.

It's only when Bollywood realized what a huge star he had become, when he started giving hits like Raja Hindustani and Lagaan, that they had no option but to start recognizing that he was a phenomenal actor and a superstar.
