Is Karan Johar the New Salman Khan of Bollywood?

Pehle Salman pe har 3 maheene baad social media outrage hota tha, ab Kjo pe hota hai.

Karan and Salmaan both are Jokers of Bollywood.

Yes. The only two virgins of bollywood.

With respect to controversies? Yes. Also add Kangana to the mix.

But I wanna point out something.

Salman's criminal history started way too early for social media to catch up on. Had Salman killed those people sleeping on the footpath today, things would be very very different for him. Time has blurred out his crimes and everyone's has bought into the image of Being Human Bhai.

Karan wouldn't be this lucky. This time around he's being accused of something really serious. While the outrage won't last and things would get back to normal, Sushant's death could very well put an end to whatever backhanded malicious games Ranbir and Karan play with people they hate. This should be a wake up call that the audience is not blind anymore.

While outrage against Salman yielded no results and Salman remains the same narcissistic power hungry prick, for Karan this could be the turning point. Hopefully.

You know I find this very stupid, Karan can't even produce big films on his own while some of them are hailing him as mafia and king and all that. He is not, he is just a gossip monger who loves gossip. He is shrewd and mean but influential not at all. He is god in his clout but that doesn't make him Bollywood mafia. Real mafia is safe from all the bashing and enjoying in his empire.

I think Karan is smart. This could very well be turning point of his career for good, if he use this as opportunity to redeem himself well. Unfollowing people on twitter and insta isn't going to do shit for him. I guess he will reframe dharma strategies, will arrange talent hunt ( solely because it can be promoted that hes bringing inn new talent), produce small budget films for outsiders and small stars but good actors to gain back what he lost. Although online trolls will continue to bash him but for general movie going audience he will be masihaaa and he will more powerful than he is today. Indians bahut jaldi maaf kar dete hain, I am sure KJo definitely isi path me jaayega

Unka apne betonko launch karna samjh aata hai. Karan kisi bhi aire gaire ko uthata hai and kisi film me chipka deta hain and koi aur producer ko bhi on board le leta par launching ka saara credit khud ke jaata hai.
