Yes, they were. Sushant fans were posting on her instagram that whole week begging her to defend him. She waited a week and then claimed she was out of the country and came out with a lame statement.

There is no point in blaming anyone and blinds are worth ignoring as long as they stay blinds. But Sushant was already public about it and posting chats to clear his name. What Sanjana did is disgusting if Sushant had not molested her. It annoys people that now that he's dead, she comes out to show sympathy when the molester gossip is probably one of the biggest things that hurt him. You couldn't say a good word for him back then so why pretend now?

There could be a gazillion reasons why she didn't say anything. Maybe she was asked by the team.. maybe she had her own issues.. maybe Sushant himself told her to let him handle it? You don't know.. none of us do what transpired.. what is the point blaming every living person for whatever happened to Sushant? Stop with the blame games.. everyone has made a mockery of a young death with their assumptions.. first the assumptions as if we all know what caused his depression.. then the fake tweets.. the hate messages to Ankita and Rhea and now embroil Sanjana too? Everyone who knew Sushant closely and had a good rapport with him is probably already in guilt that they couldn't help him and every single one of you are making things worse for them.. it's really getting low and there seems to be no stopping

its doesn't matter to me if people believe her sadness, but to.say she deliberately waited for 1 week based on nothing but mere speculations doesn't sit well with me.

Exactly that's the thing. It's not like someone would travel in the aeroplane for 7 days in a row that she would miss such a news regarding molesting allegation. Her silence and numb had an impact on his damaged image and that's how many couldn't believe in Sushant after she spoke out making a delay. She wrote things down as in she was being forced, neither she told anything good about Sushant before giving a fullstop. Nor she had ever post any of their pics together except of their movie promotion pics once a while, as in she wanted people to continue believing what they wrongly believed.

Out of sheer curiousity, how do you know it was wrongly believed.. maybe Sanjana did actually think Sushant was crossing a line with her and it was a misunderstanding which later cleared between the two and they sorted out things? Assume karna hi hai tou kuch bhi karlo

If something like this is false, you should speak up that very minute. You don't make people suffer while dillydallying. Because she took so much time, it made it seem true so people didn't believe her even afterwards.

she could have been either

a. the actual victim of sexual harassment..if she was then there are a dozen reasons why she wouldn't speak up...

b. it was a fake blind .. and she may not have known about it..or even if she did being so new in the industry maybe she didn't know how she should react.. deny outright ( the blinds don't use names so its a tricky situation so she could make it worse).. she could have got brick bats regardless.. if she didn't plant anything then why should the onus be on a young woman to defend a man in his 30s?

c. she planted the blind herself.. does she even have the clout to do that to someone with more power than her???

rkisnothot, are you blaming a young newcomer to the field of not being street smart? considering you have been giving benefit of the doubt to K Jo (in my opinion) and other powerful people in the industry...

It's possible she did think that. Probably did. Her statement was eerily cold and looked forced. But again, if that's the case, there's no need to show so much false sympathy now. Did you see her instagram? She has written a long essay about how great he was. She couldn't write 2 warm lines during the molester allegation but now she can come up with all this that has no meaning and won't help him.

As i said, maybe they sorted things out much later and then shared a good rapport? Do you know the kind of equation they shared after all the accusations were done with? No.. you don't.. then how do you know her sympathy is false? His do you know whatever she states is not from heart?

As I said the biggest joke in the video was Sonam herself. She is too big of a dimwit to realize it. She didn’t see films that on average fared better than hers ? Can you imagine what she is indirectly saying about her own movies ? Who would have gone to see them ?
