Arnab's debate about Sushant

So they said the depression started when he rejected so much work for Paani. Which was supposedly suppose to be a dream role. Than that movie got shelved and he was sitting at home with a clean slate. Arnab also said that quite a few production houses were working in cahoots. Can any one verify this?

He was working hard on paani. I saw insta live of manoj bajpai with shekhar kapoor where mr kapoor emphasises how much involved SSR was with the whole process

I am saying both Shekhar tweet and this debate make it look like it was some type of conspiracy trap? Was it ?

I heard that he rejected many films for paani.then paani got shelved.it could had hurt him a lot.

Couldnt Shekar do Paani with any other production house ?

That what I wondered too? If Shekhar was on Sushant’s side why couldn’t he have taken a good script to any other production house ? Was he afraid that YRF had some way to destroy his career ? Did he not want to risk working with them again? Did it require a huge production? Could they have made on a smaller budget than what YRF usually spends ?

i don’t know why it took so long that YRF shelved it.
the project was on a risky topic something about water? and He needed a big budget for that. Who knows maybe Shekar wasn’t able to come up with something (Script?vision?) that Adi would pay that much.
It’s been at least 3 years since that project is shelved and Shekar said he would find someone else . But that movie never came up again till now and Shekar did overseas some projects.
i think shekar wanting a big Budget and no one wanting to risk it made it completely shelved.

Someone should do an in depth interview of Shekhar and Adi and ask them tough questions like a responsible journalist. After people are done mourning. (If that process ever ends).

True. Maybe Shekar can enlighten. Doubt Adi will ever be approachable by anyone for an interview. Sad if that project did such a turmoil on SSR.
But then its life we all want something sometimes even desperately and it doesn’t work out.
