THIS!
I'm so tired of the argument that if nepotism was existent, then Uday Chopra would have been the biggest star!
Like, seriously!?
How many chances were these star kids given - Ab Jr., Sonam, ARK given, despite delivering flops? If it had been someone else, we wouldn't have even heard about them ever.
There was this Telugu actor, a rising star, called Uday Kiran. He had two big hits to his name, and was on his way to stardom. I think he got involved with Chiranjeevi's sister and then decided not to marry her, post which, his career took a tumble. He almost disappeared without a trace, and the next one heard about him, it was...you guessed it, after his suicide.
It just goes to show how much power these big shots have, and how they can actually sabotage people's careers.
