I was wondering why is that if Draupadi is mentioned as Goddess Laxmi so clearly in Mahabharata, She isn't worshipped as her, I mean she is worshipped as Goddess Kali then why not Goddess Laxmi with Lord Krishna / Lord Vishnu?

You see they didn't know how to break Chakravayuh, so how come Kauravas failed in capturing Yudhistira after Abhimanyu's death? He obviously didn't last all day long

Drupad studied with Dron in Rishi Bharadwaj Ashram not under Parashuram ji.

You might say that both of them had elementary education together after which Drupad came to become a king while Drona went for higher education under Parashuram. Chakraview Bhedan was a part of higher education.

Dhristhdhyum was not a great warrior to be honest he was defeated easily by Karna, Shalya and Ashwathama. Drona wouldn't have considered him eligible for such high level education. None of his students anyway knew it excluding Arjun. Even in Kauravas side only Drona, Ashwathama and Karna knew the technique.

The only surprise for me is Satyaki not knowing the process. He was way too much a great warrior to have not tried to get higher level knowledge

Drishtdumya was leader, He wasn't as good as Drona but he was managing everything

I will like to inform u I don't support karn for his behaviour for Draupadi, I like karn for his loyalty , feel sorry for him coz of Kunti .

Regarding not liking Draupadi, I m well aware of her flaws which I don't like .

Draupadi's flaws are not very visible(she would have flaws) like the pandavas their flaws were quite visible & led to the war actually

There are 3 interps of Panchali's relationship with Krishna with re: divinity.

1. He is supreme God, and she is subordinate devotee. This is the popular one for the obvious reason that India (and the rest of the world) has been patriarchal for millennia

2. The friendship which is actually a nondivine one

3. The interp where she is Adishakti, and Krishna is merely carrying out her instructions. This is actually a very prevalent thought in South India. One of the folk retellings even has her killing the demon who kidnapped Rati and winning her for Pradyumna when Krishna/Pandavas were defeated.

I believe it is in either a Telugu or Tamil retelling that Bheema complaints he can't... er... satisfy her and asks Krishna for help. Krishna somehow gives Bheema a portion of himself which Panchali recognizes during the act. She then demands he marry her, and they get married in their next births. There is actually a Krishna temple attached to this story though I can't remember the name right now.

As to why #1 is popular, I'm still looking for the answer as to why Radha is worshiped alongside Krishna when every pandit knows (or ought to know) she is fan fiction.

Radha-Krishna temples are relatively new

Old temples have Krishna with Rukmini, Radha is not in these temples

Subhadra is worshipped in Jagannath Puri because she was Lord Krishna's sister, Balaram is worshipped too

There has to be a reason why even though Draupadi is mentioned as Goddess Laxmi, She is not worshipped

First two describe Krishna's relationship with Arjuna too, He is said to be his devotee and they had non divine friendship, I don't see how a patriarchal society plays a role here because Krishna is Lord and Draupadi should have been worshipped as Goddess

Most of drapaudi s temple has krishna. There is karaga festival where drapaudi is the main deity and krishna helps her . Plus i have said this earlier too radha is someone who has been shown as part of krishna s life in vrindavan and drapaudi s past life before meeting drapaud is conveniently omitted getting the drift
