Part 8
Ishraru reached the venue on time ,they were welcomed nicely and gave a table to settle . Ishru were busy in chatting while Raman was surrounded with the reporters as well as other peoples ,those were congratulating him on his sucess . He too was happy ,recieving the wishes and listening good things about him till Khanna couple enter . Raman was smiling fully when he saw Ashgun entering the venue . Ashok was holding her from waist while she was clingling fully on him , they entered the place and scanned the hall fully and their eyes stopped where Raman was . Raman eyes met with shagun, she gave him a devilish smile and kissed Ashok's cheek to make Raman jealous . He immediately removed his eyes from them and excused himself from all the people , he was surrounded with and went to the bar counter. He asked for a drink and started drinking while Ashgun smirked seeing his reaction and settled on their taboe whereas ishru were still busy in their conversation oblivious of the things happening around them.
Soon the function started , Raman was still sitting on the barstool only ,didn't bothered to go and sit with ishru . Ishita had never seen shagun so she didn't know her even ruhi has also met shagun only few times so she too don't recognise her , they don't even know any one in the fuction so they remain in the table with eachother . After few awards were given Raman's name was called and he went to stage . Ishru clapped hard for him when he was receiving the award ,they listened his speech and again clapped for him . He got down of the stage and went to ishru Table ,gave the award to ruhi and hugged her tightly . Thats when a person came to him and started talking to him ,they went to the bar counter and started talking ,having their drinks . While talking to the person his eyes searched for shagun and he found her going somewhere . He thought to follow her and confront her about the custody case , thinking so he went behind her .
When Raman reached there ,he found shagun shouting over someone ,he narrowed his eyes wondering whats happening thats when he saw ,she was trying to pull ruhi from ishita's hand shouting on her " how dare you talk to me like that ,don't you know I m her mother . Stay away or I will call police and will send you jail for trying to kidnap my daughter. "
I- daughter?
S- yeah daughter, she is ruhi my daughter.
She said and pulled ruhi behind her then shouted " arey koi hai ,Dekho ye aurat meri bachchi ko kidnap karne ki koshish kar rahi hai ,pata nahi kaun hai ,kisne isko ander aane diya ."
I- I was not ...
S- shutup ,koi hai ..
She shouted again but got stopped by Raman ,who asked loudly " what going on here ."
He then looked at ishita who was all teary and asked " hey ishita what happened why are you crying , tumne kya kiya shagun."
S- what did I do ? I saved my daughter from kidnapping when you were busy in drinking .
R- what do you mean ?
S- this girl was trying to kidnap our daughter.
Raman made an angry face and said " atfirst she is not our ,she is only my daughter and secondly don't try to act as if you care for her and third ishita cannot kidnap ruhi .
S- you mean to say that you trust her more than me ?
R- who told you that I trust you ,but yes I trust her a lot .
S- Raman this is enough you are insulting me for this behenji , she was trying to harm our ruhi .
R- its actually enough shagun,stop creating drama .And she is not behenji, she is ishita and she can never harm ruhi ,I trust her even more than myself .
S- what the hell Raman ,I won't believe she canbe your choice , tumhari choice kab se itni down market hone lagi .
R- atfirst she is enough sophisticated to be with us and by any chance if she is down market then I will prefer to be with her .
Saying so he turned to ishru ,who were hugging eachother tightly and asked " tumlog theek ho na ,kahin lagi to nahi ."
Both shook their head negatively while Raman caressed their hair softly and asked
" tell me what happened?".
I- (meekly)- ruhi wanted to use washroom , so I was taking her there . I thought to inform you but you were busy with someone so I thought that I can go by ourself and come quickly before you notice but she chased her and started pulling ruhi from me, shouting that I m kidnapping her. Its not like that ,you know main kabhi ruhi ko harm nahi kar sakti .
R- I know beta ,don't need to cry somuch .
Then he turn to shagun and spoke " suna tumne ,they were just going to use washroom and you again created a scene unnecessarily.
S- I was just being careful towards my daughter.
R- carefull my foot , you just wanted to gain some points so that you can get ruhi's custody but you are wrong ,I will not let you take my ruhi from me .
S- this is your misconception Raman , I m her mother and married too . I can give better future to her than you . I have all the possibilities to get her custody but you have non . Tum sirf ek looser ho looser ,first you lost me and now you will loose ruhi because we don't deserve a looser like you .
Raman got angry listening to this ,he glared shagun and was going to hit her but ishita held his hand and shook her head negatively, stopping him to hit shagun . He stopped, didn't hit shagun but punched his hand on the wall .Ishru panicked seeing this ,Ruhi started crying while ishita held his wounded hand in her and shouted for help . Already most of people were witnessing the scene ,media people too were recording this ,soon the first aid arrived and Raman was treated . Ishru were beside him ,trying to calm him down , shagun was already gone ,fuming in anger while media got busy in making headlines of tomorrow.
