If you’re not justifying then why bring up his old cases?? Admit it, you’re saying because he had a criminal record he deserved to die. Every time someone says the victim was this and that, they are trying to justify the actions against them. It doesn’t matter what happened in the past, in this case he’s the victim, no buts no ifs no nothing else. How can you watch that video and come here to badmouth Floyd and nothing about the cops actions?? I mean it’s just amazing. Humanity is dead. Not defending police or justifying what happened. Mr. Floyd had criminal record. Last one holding woman at gunpoint in her home during botched robbery. And he was resisting arrest. He seems little unstable in video also.
Rioting and looting designer stores is not right either. The store keepers are already reeling from Covid impact and this will devastate them as well as city plans to reopen stores gradually
I agree with the people saying that it is hard to speak up in India because there can be a huge backlash. Concept of free speech is much different than here in the US. BUT, I feel if enough himmatwale people (especially celebs who have huge influence) start speaking on these issues and push through the threats and backlash, it will create a culture of speaking up for what one believes in.

I don't know if you all will agree, but injustice is injustice. It's kind of negative to question someone who's standing up for a cause, irrespective of whether they have stood up for something earlier or will in the future. The fact that our first instinct is to question someone and ultimately put them down for causing an awareness for any specific situation is what further prevents them from using their voice in the future.
True, every life matters including other organisms apart from humans and George Floyd was a human like us. Injustice is injustice, be it anywhere, any place, by anyone. Someone suferred and there are many who suffer daily.
I. Always wish that this world becomes a better place to live. With time ,this world is becoming more brutal and cruel.

I agree to this, celebs are just humans like us and they are also entitled to free speech but they are famous, they can make an impact by voicing their opinions. If they will be afraid to speak for Indians and the people who suffer despite of so much Security and money, how can a common person who doesn't hold power, money, security will show the guts to speak against the wrong. There are so many people, teenagers too who follow and idolise these celebs, if they start speaking for right at the right time, this will give many the courage especially their fans to speak up.
Why people make it like, people who speak against Trump, don't get bullied in social media over there😆, as if it is inclusive to India only.
BC Kapil Mishra ne USA jaake bhi kuch bol diya kya jo yeh riot ho gaye wahan 😒

They literally don't. Trump gets rightfully trolled and ridiculed everyday. Celebs diss him quite often and no one apologizes for their remarks because US is actually a Democracy.
What about the Magas tho 😆

Yeah I saw that and I'm so disappointed in starting this thread/topic. She definitley fooled me into thinking she was socially aware, but just another celeb posting random things b/c others are.
So proud of her embracing her age so gracefully. In the latest campaign, lines near her eyes, full confidence and radiant. I hope she never...
