I can understand the uproar on Bala...but weren't the characters from Super 30 and Gully Boy based on real life characters?

And isn't Ranveer dusky in real life? He had a wheatish complexion in Dil Dhadhakne Do as well and he was playing a Delhi tycoon's son.
